Overview
Offering a tranquil garden setting, Ololo Safari Lodge is nestled at the Mbagathi River bordering the famous Nairobi National Park. The lodge features an outdoor pool and is within 45 minute's drive from Nairobi’s airports. The rooms at Ololo Safari Lodge are individually decorated and feature earthy tones and modern Colonial-style furnishings. All beds are draped with a mosquito net and a hair dryer and free toiletries are provided. Guests can enjoy the on site bar and open air restaurant located by the pool and overlooking the national park. The restaurant focuses on simple home-style cuisine, using seasonal ingredients and vegetables from their own garden. The guest lounge is located in the old original thatched farmhouse and has an open fireplace, wine cellar and small library for guests enjoyment. Ololo Safari Lodge offers guided game drives through the park and excursions to the Daphne Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage. Cultural excursions can also be arranged to Karen and surrounds.

everything was amazing!! The actual property was beautiful, the rooms were so cosy and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to cater for anything we needed and always had a smile on whenever we saw them. The included meals were delicious, the game drives were amazing and the dog Fred was such a nice surprise

“Wonderful lodge in a stunning location.”
The location in a national park is something very special. We were collected from the gate and our driver took us to view animals on the way to the lodge. Every meal was fantastic, all staff were kind and took wonderful care of us. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in a small room which was perfectly adequate, and finished to a high standard. Our game drives were magical. We would highly recommend this experience.

“Ololo Safari Lodge is a very special place - stunning and peaceful”
The venue is well-located, easy to get to from Nairobi but peaceful and feels "off the beaten track". The facilities at the lodge are really good. It's a great place to relax and feel pampered. The staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The all-inclusive package really is all-inclusive, with morning / evening optional game drives and airport pick-up. We stayed two nights and went on four game drives and saw lion, white-rhino, black rhino, hyrax, buffalo, giraffe, impala, wildebeest, jackal, zebra, serval, crocodile, hyena and so many wonderful birds, all in the wild. You could go to Serengeti or Masai and not see this. We also spent an hour at the Sheldrake elephant orphanage which is very special. Ololo is a highly recommended venue. Everything ! Staff were professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was incredible. The accommodation was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The drives into Nairobi National Park were exceptional. Special mention to Washington, our guide, who was so knowledgeable and a wonderful human being !
