The location and history of the little place is amazing. It's nothing fancy, but very good value for money, very nice people, and overall a lovely experience.

Spacious entryway leading to the house. Very secure in excellent neighbourhood. Artcaffee and Restos close by. Breakfast was good, the host provided the ingredients. Historical charme of Kilorun house is unbeatable. That is what attracted me. Adriel was a great host, came to greet me and told me about the house.

Lovely, very special place. Definitely suited for those seeking a quiet stay in a local, rustic house. Best for mindful guests who appreciate and respect someone else’s property. Such a beautiful house - it felt like staying in a museum :-) It was only a short stay, but quite exceptional.

Adriel was a gem! He was so welcoming and helped provide everything I needed. It is a lovely cottage vibe right in the centre of Kilimani. There is a pharmacy and supermarket next door so had everything I needed. A very secure property too with a gate and many locks.

Adriel is a wonderful host, very kind and so much available for us and all what we have experienced. First, my flight has been cancelled and I was afraid to not make it on time for the safari tour that I have booked way earlier (not refundable at the time) and he tried many times to call them to make sure I could go to the tour as planned (while my time of arrival had changed). Even though the guide arrived at the house in the morning, very early, Adriel was up to make sure that everything would be okay. My friend also got a little bit sick the following day and he did everything he could to make sure that he was doing okay, including offering him to take him to see a doctor. The place is really clean and the beds are very comfy! We had the house for ourselves and it was just such a pleasure to get to know a place in Nairobi that is so good.

Kiloran House is a jewel in the hectic city of Nairobi. The old building is so charming, you forgive easily its simplicity. In fact it's part of its charme. It's surrounded by calm gardens. The location is very convenient to explore the city. Plus the area is very green and safe due to its proximity to many embassies. Adriel and his family are so welcoming, you feel instantly at home. They are the reason why this place feels so special. They helped us a lot with everything we needed to know. We would always come back when in Nairobi.

The couple who owns the property were lovely but unfortunately they had to leave when we arrived. It is a nice old building in a good and quiet location with a cafe / restaurant around the corner.

Great location…in the heart of the city yet secluded from the chaos of the city. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing!

There are a lot of Plus! First of all the house is in a quite and safe area. Just across the road is a restaurant, a little supermarket and bakery with a real good European like bread. Everything is clean and especially the kitchen open for every guest is a good idea. Some toast, butter, marmelade, milk and coffee is available as basic breakfast but as I said nearby you get more. If you have questions Adriel is always open to help which realy is the biggest Plus!

This accommodation is centrally located and has English colonial charm amidst the sprawling urban high rises. Our room was spacious and was furnished with antiques of days gone by. The common rooms are spacious, perfect for those who want to chill, concentrate, write or read. Our hosts were gentile, gracious, and very communicative. Kiloran House is an oasis of green tranquility. What it may lack in modern amenities it makes up in charm and character. I'm glad I found this gem with such wonderful, warm hosts.
