I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at East of Eden Guest House, it was absolutely fantastic. The room was perfect, with fresh eggs every day and so many thoughtful little extras that made it feel so very special. Honestly, I was sceptical about all those stunning reviews at first, but trust me, you won't be disappointed one bit. This was my first trip to Africa, and now it's my home away from home. Sylvia and the staff were wonderful, what a star of a host. I never dreamed anyone could be so kind and thoughtful. She took me to the Giraffe Centre and the museum, but the absolute standout day was when we headed out to her avocado farm in the countryside. My fondest memory is sitting under an avocado tree, eating the most delicious mango I've ever had in my entire life. If you're looking for a warm, genuine stay in Nairobi with incredible hospitality and those extra touches that make all the difference, East of Eden is the place. Sylvia turns it into something truly unforgettable.

Very Clean neat, and hygienic. The bed, bedsheet, and blankets were clean. The washrooms and washbasin were clean. Owner sylvia  supplied water ,Eggs,coffee, tea, cola and  snacks unlimited daily. Wifi was very good..  very safe Place has a good vibe. Owners were very helpful and guided whenever needed.Was a peaceful stay.The location is near  the usa University. Our stay was awesome value for money! Silvia was so thoughtful providing tea,coffee, milk, eggs, oil, utensils for or cooking and lots of bathroom toiletries. Very clean and good wifi also. The perfect place for a quiet night or two before or after flying/a stopover. Thanks for a fabulous stay you are such a lovely host 😁

“We were totally spoilt”

Sylvia gave very good messages to guide us on our stay. Further, she supplied free food - EVERYDAY; Eggs, milk, coffee, tea, salt, sugar, cooking oil, water soft drinks and snacks. No hunger in this home! Fresh toiletries, flowers, snow white towels and linen daily. Steve her assistant was very kind and helpful.

It was a true Garden of Eden. Beautiful, green, peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff incredibly kind and accommodating. Sylvia was the best hostess imaginable. I could stay forever!

Our stay in Nairobi was amazing, and the accommodation was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Situated in a calm and secure neighborhood, it provided us with a great sense of comfort. The owner is incredibly kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped, offering everything one might need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent accommodation in Nairobi at a very reasonable price!

The environment was very safe, and natural. Also good staff, must especially Steve & Sylvia the owner who kept giving me drinks and snacks everyday! They also have a tour agent, to get your tours done at great prices Absolutely recommend!!

“Best in Africa”

Crean room. Good staff. There is a frige, kitchen. There are small shops and local restaurants around. I have stayed in over 20 hotels in Africa and this is by far the best.

The extreme readiness of staff to help and meet my needs; from the moment I'd arrived to the moment I left. Steve, the staff member tasked with my room, had made sure all of my needs were met with extreme readiness and promptness, whether it was supplies, taxi bookings, phone arrangements, or shopping, everything really. The owner, Mrs. Sylvia, followed up incessantly and even out in some face time to see if I'm comfortable and whether I needed extra help to make my stay more satisfactory, which I didn't and told her there's literally nothing more they could do. She was exceedingly pleasant and hospitable.

The hostess went out of her way to organize everything I wanted for my vacation. That helped me a lot because it was my first time visiting Kenya. The accommodation is very quiet and the garden is very nice, very good for relaxing.

Sylvia is the best host ever! She was so helpful and kind, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She helped us to get a nice taxi driver, very reliable and safe. The place is very clean, they clean the room daily; and you have soft drinks, water, snacks and eggs that you can cook for breakfast. The location is in a good place, very relax and far from the noise, but also close from Shopping, restaurants, etc. The room has a nice smart tv, fridge, comfy bed, hot shower, and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Also, Steve is very kind and nice person, making sure we enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back. Thank you Sylvia!
