It was clean, had 5 single beds that suited our needs, cosy. Convenience store diagonally across. Nice cafe and eateries nearby. Reception was open from 3pm to 10pm, but was able to accommodate request for someone to be in early on our arrival date to check us in. Gave us early check in as room was available which was very helpful after a red eye flight to freshen up.

“An amazing stay”

I like that it is an apartment that comes with a washer and a dryer, a microwave, and a small fridge. It even has a small kitchen. The bathroom is also big. The room is spacious. It’s also within walkable distance to bus stops and monorail stations. All the major convenience stores are within 5-min walk. There are also several restaurants at a side street about 3-min walk away. The service is incredible. Very prompt.

“Really glad I chose this for my stay in Naha”

This is a lovely hotel, perfect for a short trip to Naha! I stayed there for two nights and was really impressed. The room was more like a well-designed studio apartment than a hotel room, and it was very comfortable, both in terms of temperature and furnishing – I had a very restful night’s sleep there. It’s also very well located – a 15/20-minute walk to the pottery area, about a 10-minute walk to the main shopping street, and about a 10-minute walk to the light rail station for the airport. Really glad I chose it!

Beyond expectations - more a serviced apartment with lots of space but still all the amenities of a hotel. Ann and her team were so helpful and friendly. I have already stayed twice and would stay again.

An excellent location, very well equipped good sized rooms. Anna was very helpful. Walking distance of Kencho mai and Asahibashi.

Clean, nice room,secured and very friendly owner, provided cooking equipments so I can buy stuff from supermarket and drink beer at the balcony. Owner also allowed me to leave luggage and come back to pick up after check out which is super convenient for me. I really enjoyed staying here. Didn’t heard any noises during the night.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed at Kohala Hotel. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the facilities were excellent. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the warm, homely atmosphere — it truly felt like a place that cares about its guests. The location was perfect, and the service was wonderful throughout our stay. Honestly, it was a much better experience than other hotels that charge more. Highly recommended!

Nice clean hotel, with comfy beds! Located pretty close to Kokusai Dori Shopping Street, about a 5 minute walk. We walked to the hotel from the monorail and there was plenty around. Nice easy stay for 1 night in Naha

Hassle free and practical. It's almost like a well managed service apartment.

The rooms are meticulously clean, and have a washing machine and dryer. There is even a bath tub, a fully functional Japanese toilet, and a balcony. Did i mention the mini built in kitchen? And there is a lot more. Last nit least the people who are running this place are kind and helpful. What else can one ask for?

There are two pharmacies one opposite and one on the corner of the hotel which come in handy when you need medication. Lawson is just 2 mins walk away which is very convenient. Check in and check out procedure is easy and fast.

Cheerful and friendly owners who spoke excellent English (Google translate got a well-deserved break!). Convenient location near bus station, monorail station, shopping mall, shopping street and restaurants. Room equipped with all necessary appliances like fridge, kettle and washer-dryer.
