Lots of washing machines and dryer. Didn't have to wait to get access. Ferry buses to Nagoya Station makes it very convenient to access the trains and buses.

The staff at this Toyoko Inn once again proved that it is one of the absolute best hotel chains in Japan. All of the staff members were consistently polite and helpful, including the reception staff, kitchen staff and bus drivers and the services they provided were above and beyond what other hotels offer. The daily eco cleaning (cleaning bins and changing towels but not doing major cleaning every single day) was really appreciated and will benefit anyone who plans on buying takeout and bringing it back to their hotel room. The free breakfast was amazing and delicious and included an incredible variety of mostly Japanese but also some western food options. Some popular food offerings remained constant from day to day but there were new options throughout all of my several days there. I really appreciated the opportunity to try certain Japanese dishes I had never tried before. The room was great and I was especially impressed with the size of the bath in the bathroom; it was noticeably wider than the baths at other hotels. The bed in my room was quite wide too. To be honest, it was actually the fact that Toyoko Inns have adjustable air conditioners in their rooms and the AC in my room was excellent. I was able to adjust it to exactly how I wanted it. I never heard noises from the other rooms, suggesting decent soundproofing of the walls, but did hear talking as guests were in the corridor. The free shuttle bus service to Nagoya Station, which ran every 15 minutes from morning to night, really made the choice of hotel all the more worth it. The bus drivers were all great and made sure the passengers got to the station as quickly as possible after it was time to depart. There was never a situation when there weren’t enough seats in the bus but I would recommend travellers to line up for a bus 15 minutes earlier than they need to just in case. It’s also worth mentioning that this branch of Toyoko Inn has several elevators so congestion wasn’t an issue.

It was a horribly rainy day and having the free shuttle bus every 15 mins from Midlands Square was super helpful.

The parking is limited, the hotel recommended low price parking.

“Comfortable stay, delicious breakfast”

My family and I loved it. Very affordable - I booked three single rooms (I travelled with mum and brother) and the price was cheaper than triple room around the area. The buffet breakfast was the most surprising - there was a LOT of options and the menu changes every day. There was also free shuttle to the city centre / near the station.
