“Very very bad experience”

Very very bad place. No privacy. No proper internet. No shelf in the bunks. Very poor . I'll never recommend to others

Spacious space ideal for meeting new people and taking time for yourself. Clean bathrooms and kitchens. Very spacious kitchen and living room. Dormitories with private bathrooms in each dorm.

“A wonderful stay”

Large shared space, the facilities were comfortable and clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Also free parking is right in the building so very easy

“An accessible, clean hostel stay not too far from Ghibli Park”

The hostel is just a 10 minutes walk from a main subway line stop in Nagoya, making it easy to travel into the city centre or to the outskirts to switch to the Linimo line. (Relevant for Ghibli Park travellers). I chose this location due to the proximity to Ghibli Park and it made it very easy to arrive there for my early entry - there are also convenience stores right next to the station for an easy breakfast or snack. The hostel itself was clean, quite cosy and had a nice, large living room. The staff are happy for you to leave luggage at their desk (50 yen fee per bag) which is useful for day-trips to the city. It is also located in a quiet, relaxing neighbourhood. I had a positive experience and I'm really grateful that this hostel exists and was at a decent price.

Even though it's not in the city, I booked it because it's a midway point to the ghibli park so not to have to wake up too early to get there.

The common area was very spacious and as well as the kitchen area.

the checkin time is 6-10pm, very friendly for people arriving late.

The pillows were too small, and the air conditioning was very dirty and kept blowing out dirt. The air conditioning also could not keep the temperature up. The toilet smelled disgusting the entire time. The cooking smell in the common room was very obnoxious.

“Comfortable hostel in quiet neighbourhood.”

The hostel and facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious with good bathroom and shower facilities. There are additional showers available via the common area. The common area was very large and had a full kitchen. There was also a TV and shelves with books/magazines. Each dorm bed had a light and an outlet. That was handy. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and is about a 15 minutes walk from Issha station.

Tidy and efficient, excellent value for money, good location for going to Ghibli Park (but get advance tickets!)

It had a big space outside the rooms with kitchen, living room, tv… and parking as well

Tatami room was a good size for a party of 4 but there was an “emergency exit” light which was on during the night so the room was greenish 😓. The common kitchen was good except for the mini oven which was dirty. Enough fridge space to store food. Overall we liked the place.

Reception staff were very friendly and provided great service. Room was big and fuss free though you will need to set up the futon yourself. Value for money for a 1 night stay.
