Open from June 2015, Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel offers modern accommodation, just a 7-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Guests can enjoy various beverages at the on-site bar or cafe. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests can choose to stay in private rooms or in dormitory rooms. Dormitory rooms feature custom-made wooden bunk beds. Each bed has a plug and a small reading light by the head of the bed, and also privacy curtains. Bathroom facilities are shared with other guests. Shampoo and body soap are provided. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen and dining tables. Luggage storage, lockers and a coin launderette are also on offer at Nagoya Backpackers Hostel Glocal. English-speaking staff are readily available to help.

“Great location for great value!”
Great location as it's about 5-10 mins walk from Nagoya Station. Friendly and welcoming staff. I wish I had time to spend at the bar to drink and chat with them. Beds were quite comfy but very comfy. The small show box sized lockers were great for valuables. The common room/kitchen area, laundry, showers and toilets were good.

Perfect location in walking distance to railway station. Also city centre and tourist attractions are easy to get. Despite being in the city, the surrounding is very quiet during the night. Clean showers and washing facilities, which includes useful amenities. A very welcoming place. I enjoyed my stay.

The hostel is near the station and the center of Nagoya. There are a lot of restaurants, convenient stores and things to entertain. The atmosphere is very quite. Everything is perfect. The host is very helpful and enthusiastic.

Great place to stop over for a night or two. Good to meet other travellers for a chat and easy access to the station. Definitely recommend staying here. Good value for money.

excellent place.5 min walk to nagoya station.owner Icchan is a very nice and energetic person,always ready to help,fluent in english. very clean showers and toilets.2nd floor is female only if you are sensitive to that sort of things it will be a huge plus.entrance is a nice cafe cheap yet superb food ,coffee.esp for breakfast food,dont look further,trust me

“Family Dec hols at Nagoya”
Icchan the boss is most cheerful, warm and kind. Helped with the check in and was very patient and detailed in explaining. I had an opn this year so unable to carry heavy stuff. Icchan helped me to carry the large heavy bag up 4 floors!

Close to the train station, staff is wonderful especially the owner. Helped me a bunch and they all enjoyed talking. The cleaning lady was awesome and had an amazing chat all afternoon

The location is very convenient and quiet—I'll definitely be back. The kitchen oven would be perfect if it were just a bit larger.
