The view is everything for this stay, I booked it for a nice sunrise location. This delivered a gorgeous sunrise looking out across the water, and not only that but I also got to see the weather change into rainy, thunder, and lightning storm not long after the sunrise phase. This was delightful and exactly what I was after, being able to laze around in the morning watching the outside world from the comfort of bed (futon). It was a nice tatami room and having a toilet & sink in the room is super convenient!

“Incredible place, nice views, big room and wonderful stay!”

The place was fantastic. Not only the room was really big and had an incredible view to the sea, but the whole place was really nice and welcoming. There's a self-catering area with a fully equipped kitchen and a fridge (plenty of free-to-use stuff), free juice and tea, free bike rentals, and even a 'cinema' area with a nice projector and sofa/cushions to sit and relax. The showers were really clean and fully equipped as well. And the staff were really friendly and helpful with everything, including their suggestion to visit the bakery nearby (Aulong) and the public baths (sento; 銭湯). Parking is available immediately outside ~50 m away. Did I mention the views from the room were incredible?

“Not to be missed accommodations and experience !”

It was a shared house and we stayed there as a family of 3 adults , two parents above 70YO. We found it comfortable and love the place ultimately for the views of sunrise and the coast area ( well worth it; stay for two nights minimum and try to catch the sunrise two days ) it might be different with the weather! The room was big for 3 adults and their luggage’s and was very comfortable! And they had a well equipped shared kitchen(with some condiments and sauces) to prepare some breakfast with groceries bought from Nagasaki. There was a free coffee (machine) and drinks available .

The view really is phenomenal. That alone was worth every penny. Add the tatami mats, the free bikes and the private toilet, and it really is great value for money!

“Best hostel view ever”

The view was phenomenal and if the weather allows it you’d see the perfect sunrise. We had a toilet in our room and the showers were in the hallway, which was not a hassle at all. The futon was very comfortable and the kitchen downstairs had everything you’d need for cooking. The biles are free to take!

The view was amazing! I like the space, I really like tatami, and that extra mattress. The host was really kind. The kitchen is also nice, with a real coffee machine. And you can take bikes for free! The commute to the center of Nagasaki wasn't annoying at all, there's even a bus, which comes all the way from the famous view platform on mount Inasa to Mogu city!

“Perfect”

Great location, lovely town by the coast, a bus journey away from Nagasaki, beautiful view of the sea from the room. They had bicycles that you could rent for free to bike around which I would definitely recommend.

“Beautiful sunrises from japanese style tatami rooms”

Deluxe room is rather big and have a wow moment first time you enter the room and see the big windows. Very nice to watch the sunrise in the morning. Bathing room looked nice but was close due to not many customers and to save energy. Very big kitchen and great social rooms.

“Great calming view”

Loved our.view from the elegant styled room. All facilities within walking distance and a great littleshrine to visit for full moon viewing. A lovely little fishing village within close access from Nagasaki. Easy with your own vehicle and no parking problems.

The view was amazing . We could see the whole view of the sea and sunrise from our room . Staff was friendly and helpful . kitchen was well stocked and functional. There is a French bakery Aulong nearby which sells wonderful breads! Fishing port in the morning was very peaceful and pleasant to stroll around . Overall a place that we would like to return to .

“Peaceful and beautiful stay with incredible views!”

Beautiful property with traditional futon beds, and the most incredible view! Our room was simple, but did exactly what we needed and was great to experience the traditional Japanese Tatami design. The staff were really friendly and the kitchen is well equipped with free refreshments/coffee machine. The town itself is a seaside town just outside of Nagasaki, the town was very quiet and quaint, but has some seafood restaurants, a Lawson, and a supermarket. Getting to Nagasaki is also very easy, there are frequent buses running from the local bus stop.

“Beautiful location”

The location was beautiful. The room was great other than the fact it didn't have a shower which was not clear at the time of booking. The shower rooms and bath were excellent however.

“I wish I could live there”

Everything was so perfect! we came in winter in March so I don’t know for the other seasons, we stayed in the buidling next door to the one on the pictures but it was still so pretty! the receptionist was very sweet and the room had everything we needed. We will come back for sure, this was a dream (plus they let you borrow amazing bikes for free, the village is wonderful)
