“Best breakfast, best service and spacious room”
The hotel is located within walking distance from the train station. Our room was spacious with a lovely view on the mountains behind the town. Breakfast was the best we’ve had during our stay in Japan! And the staff was very friendly and polite, which made our stay an amazing experience.

“Not particularly good value, but a pleasant enough stay.”
Very convenient for the station although it is on the less lively side of the station. Breakfast was good with an adequate selection of Western items as well as the usual Japanese stomach-churners. Good coffee and lots of it. Breakfast is actually quite good value if you get your breakfast ticket before 10:00PM the previous night - ¥1100 as opposed to double that if you just show up and pay in the morning.

The hotel was no more than a few minute's walk from the JR station and central for Nagaoka itself. The staff were always helpful and quick to help with any problems.
