Very close to Gondo station, everything in close distance and even in walking distance to the river. It gives a 60s vibe and it's very creative.

Good value for money and a convenient location. Close to shops and the train station and walking distance to Zenkoji temple. Had tea and coffee facilities just outside the room, along with a microwave. Useful having a fridge in the room. Very cheap laundry service as well

The apartment compared to Japanese standards was huge. Separate toilet room and separate bath room. Close to Zenkoji. Apartment was clean and bed comfortable.

“Cute themed-rooms right next to the shoutengai!”

We got the blue room on the ground floor, the walls glowed in the dark and there was a cool twinkling starry sky on the ceiling. Super cool. It's right next to the shopping arcade and the subway station, but also only 20 minute walk to the big Nagano train station too. Check in was super easy, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it even snowed while we were checking out!

Good size room. Well located just off a street with lots of restaurants.

Brilliant location. Spacious rooms for Japan. Nice and warm in Winter. We felt at home and close to everything we needed. Good coffee. Good food. The temple and quirky shops, which we really we enjoyed.

“Good value”

The hotel was a little retro-like with enormous rooms, comfortable beds and a good location close to a station, but major sights in nagano could be accessed by foot. We were allowed to check-in later than usual what was very nice. Communication went smoothly.

The location was superb. Walking distance to the Nagano station. Watahan Supermarket is just around the corner!

really great location. very easy checkin and check out. we arrived early so stored our bags there and explored before. its in the cutest area of nagano we did not want to leave.

Location was great and it was clean. We had two rooms, the Japanese room was spacious, the second room was ‘unique’.

This was a 5min walk to Gondo station to get to Nagano station but also convenient to walk 20min. The room was spacious despite being very quirky and outdated.

Absolutely loved the little convenience stations in the hallway, they had everything you need - boiling water, microwave, fridge, freezer, ice cubes, absolutely lovely! And the laundry services were amazing and userfriendly. I loved the unique gentlemen’s club vibe, and the room felt quite luxurious. It came with a private onsen / bathtub too, which was lovely. Didn’t actually see much of the host, but he was really kind when we did.

Smallish no-nonsense hotel, close to temple and other locations. Clean. Good value for money. Would go again.

Great location, free hot water/ tea and coffee. Very private. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Location was excellent and quiet. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Owner/manager was welcoming and responsive. Lots of facilities - some shared like a balcony, microwave and kettle. Room is older style (maybe ex-love hotel?) but we loved the quirkiness of it. It's so retro, it's in fashion again, especially the mustard-coloured vanity set!

Good value for money. Nice location. Very close to Zenkoji Temple..lots of restaurants around.
