“Well exceeded expectations”
Room was larger and better equiped then I expected. Owner was easily available and went out of his way to help us at every turn, including walking us to nearby restaurants and services.

It's close to the Sun Spa Hotel. The owner arranged the oil treatment for us and a took us to a local restaurant. We enjoyed the peaches and figs from his garden. When we left, he even sent us to the bus station.

“Fantastic Experience at Bizim Ev Hostel!”
We only stayed for one night, but we could have easily stayed longer. The hostel offers excellent value for money. What truly made our stay special was the incredibly friendly and welcoming owner. He helped us book an oil treatment and was genuinely attentive. To top it off, we got to taste his homemade mint lemonade from his own garden – delicious! Highly recommended!

A superb studio type room with hospitality and kindness hosts! It was my best accommodation in Azerbaijan! If you want to have an experience of oil treatment, the host will arrange for you. As a vegetarian, the host brought me to the market to buy some vegetables, he even gave me some vegetables from his garden. They are like family worried about me all the time. Highly recommended!

1. Very clean, new inside, very quite; 2. All facilities available, you got small kitchen, toilet and bathroom, balcony inside the room; 3. Host is very kind and hospitable, providing fruit on my arrival, and walked me to the bus station in the early morning; 4. There are a couples of sanitarium nearby within walking distance;

Nazar and his family are extremely welcoming and made sure that the stay was pleasant. They even managed an oil bath for us in the hotel right across the street.

The only real aim to visit Naftalan is to take a bath in hot crude oil. Most hotels offer only lengthy and costly curative processes, that can be useful for those who have unlimited money and bad health, but for the ordinary traveller, who just wants to take the bath once for fun are not a real option. On the other hand the owner of Bizim Ev was super helpful with us - he not just organized the bath, but did it after the normal visiting hours of the bath complex, on a surprisingly low price. (Btw the bath was real fun.) After the bath experience he took us to a really good restaurant, where he helped us with ordering te food too. Next morning we were even invited to his garden for a tea - a lush oasis in the middle of the semidesert. So generally speaking he is the host who goes the extra mile. Keeping contact with the hotel is easy - the owner's son (who lives in Baku) speaks English and uses Whatsapp. (The owner speaks Russian. (For us that was an advantage.)
