“A wonderful stay in a historical Nablus home”

Loved the guesthouse. It is a historical building where generations of family lived and that was so special. Great care and attention was been given to everything that a guest might need. I so appreciated the genuine retro style of bedlinen, furniture etc. and wonderful Sami's hospitality.

Sami is a fantastic host! He keeps everything extremely clean and makes sure you are comfortable, he is really someone who makes you feel home. The guest house is extremely well located in the heart of the old city, close to restaurants and markets, it’s around 15 mins away walking from the taxi station.

Very charming guesthouse in the heart of the old city of Nablus. Sami greated us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home in this house that has belonged to his family for generations. The view from the roof top is incredible and the nearby Al Aqsa kunafeh is really worth trying.

This guesthouse felt very much like home away from home. The lounge area is very comfortable and relaxing. The wifi is very good, the bed was comfortable, the rooftop view of the Old city is amazing. Sami is very accommodating to guests needs and he is very helpful and friendly.

The property was located at the heart of the old town. The host (Sami) and the property exceeded my expectations. Sami was always available to assist with any queries or just for a little chat. The property is well maintained, clean and welcoming (very homely). Everything from shower gel, blankets, tea and more was available at hand. There isn't any negative points and I hope to visiting again in the near future.

Sami has the philosophy to treat every guest as part of his family. During my travel to Nablus He was checking in with me constantly, helping me find the hostel. When I arrived he made me coffee and showed me around the City to the most delicious Knafeh. In the evening we had Diner at his moms place and danced and sang together. He gave me a lot of recommendations, always was reachable and cooked me a lot of coffee. I was supposed to stay for one day but stayed 5 in the end. Nablus is a beautiful city and I personally did never feel unsafe during the day. My room and bed was very comfortable and the house and rooftop is very nice as well. You are staying in the middle of the old City. Sami is the most amazing host making you feel at home after a short time and not charging for anything extra. I would recommend staying in his guest house to anyone coming to Nablus and everyone intersted in Palestinian culture in general.

“I felt like a princess.”

The guest house is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of by the owner. Whatever you need, it's there: hairdryer, washing machine, ironing board, towels, etc. It's literally located in the heart of the old Town. That was a very special experience. I felt very comfortable and safe and had lovely conversations with Sami (the owner). He even invited me to his family so I wouldn't have to spend my Friday alone. I had a really good time and will remember my stay in Nablus forever! Highly recommended!

“Amazing place with an amazing host”

This was one of the best accommodations I had so far. Soufan has been an amazing host. He also did a city tour with me, showed me the highlights of his city and I celebrated with his family in the evening. He is so kind and hospitable. The place itself is amazing, best view over the city and very clean. Cannot recommend it enough.

Sami is a wonderful host. He cares about his guest for everything and even after I left Nablus. He is willing to share his story and view of today's Palestine. Room is very cozy (even better than the picture), great bathroom and kitchen. Guesthouse is located in the very central of old town. One of best guesthouse I have been stayed. Nablus is a great place to visit.

“Amazing stay and a true local family experience”

We had a great stay at Sami's guest house. The room was spacious and everything was clean. The shared kitchen also had tea and coffee which we could grab at any time and Sami said we should make ourselves at home as much as possible. We could text him at any time for recommendations or if we felt unsafe and he would be there in minutes (nablus is relatively safe, don't let it scare you, but at night it might be better to not walk around alone). This guest house really made our stay unforgettable. Sami showed us around, brought us to a great knafeh place, and told us about the city. After that Sami took us to his family, with whom we had a big Friday afternoon lunch, coffee, shisha and more. The hospitality was amazing, afterwards Sami even played Arabic music at his mother's home where we stayed for a few hours talking to them and there was even some singing and dancing. We heard that he did this more often with his guests. Everything was included in the price, Sami even refused our tip. Overall we had an amazing stay, we could keep our luggage at the guesthouse the whole day of check out as well and we had a great weekend here. Highly recommend! Sami is just such a a very warm-hearted person. For health reasons we arrived one day later and it was no problem at all. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. He organises everything in the guesthouse on his own and does a wonderful job. Everything is clean and he always makes an effort. The guest house is simple, but there is everything you need. The beds are comfortable, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine. From the roof terrace you have a great view of the city. The location is perfect, in the middle of the old town. We would recommend anyone to stay at Sami's guesthouse to explore the beauty of the old city of nablus.

“A true Palestine experience that shouldn’t be missed on your trip!”

Soufan was really friendly and welcoming me, felt like visiting a family house and staying there. Gave recommendations and we had together watermelon at the rooftop (beautiful view on Nablus)

This place definitely exceeded my expectations. It is indeed the same as it looks in the pictures. Everything is colourful, there's a fantastic view (especially for the sunset), and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Next time I'm in Nablus, I'll stay in this hostel. :)

You won't find a better location, in the center of the old town, in an autentic building with a beautiful roof terrace. This guest house deserves to cost more. The owner is a very good man, kind and helpful, he will guide you along your stay and will suggest you the best plans and activities. Visiting nablus without staying at the soufran guest house would be a real failure.
