“Magical Mazaraki!”

This was my second visit to Mazaraki Guesthouse and it lives up to the memories. The location, decor, staff, food and view are all exceptional. It’s hard to leave such a special place. Easy to walk to a selection of beautiful local tavernas or enjoy something in. Sit out on the balcony and soak up every moment.

The property was so much more beautiful than the photos suggest. So many trees and wonderful views. The staff were SO friendly and helpful. The wine was lovely and the food too. Don't just book for one night, you want to stay at least two!

A perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Mystras or walking in the area. Our upper apartment was spacious and simply but stylishly decorated and had a little balcony with stunning views across the valley. The kitchenette had everything you need if you wanted a light meal (no cooker but had a small camping like stove). There are hammocks and chairs dotted around the garden among the trees where you can relax and listen to the birds. Breakfast is delivered to your rooms (you chose it the night before). There is a homely dining area and the inside has a wood burner for cooler evenings in May and there are games and books for guests to enjoy. We had 2 delicious meals cooked by the wonderful chef and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. If you’re visiting Mystras, it’s less than a 5 minute drive down to the upper Mystras carpark. The ticket lasts all day so we did the top half and then drove down into Mystras village for a local lunch in the square before driving back to the main lower car park and finishing the lower half. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Truely a refugium for silence seeker in the close neighborhood of the mystras castle and museum areal. Great views from the loggia, terasse and balkony. Breakfast on the rooms balkony - simply wow and outstanding kind and supporting employees :) thank you so much for this lovely stay here

Fabulous breakfast delivered to our balcony in a basket, great selection of local food. the view from our balcony was spectacular overlooking the valley below and Mystras fortress on the mountaintop above.

“Great ambience in a mountain village”

Mazaranka is in a small mountain village overlooking the Byzantine complex. This wonderful guesthouse of several cottages and restaurant is eclectically decorated with great thought for detail. The staff were very helpful

Exceptional Location close to the ruins of Mystras. Several good hikes from the doorstep. Exceptional Service especially the individual breakfast served at your room(s). Good place to enjoy a quality variety of wines. Spectacular views from the rooms. The decorations is a subtle statement from an educated stage designer.

“Modern but with an old fashion guest house charm”

Mazaraki Guest House is one of those places you don't often find anymore, modern but with an old fashion guest house charm. Our room was beautifully designed, cozy, quirky, and comfortable. And, given the elevation we were at, with a great view. The porch in front of the café is a delightful spot, featuring glass walls that capture the light, a wooden stove creating a cozy ambiance, comfortable seating, a lovely place to sit with a coffee or a glass of wine to take in the view. Definitely have at least one meal in their excellent restaurant. Natasia and Dimitra, made us feel right at home—they are fun, friendly, and wonderfully hospitable. Their local advice was very useful. If you are visiting Mystras, definitely stay here.

- the amazing breakfast was reason enough to get up in the morning - the selection offered many local and Greek specialties, not just continental breakfast items - the room interior was very thought through, from the decorations, style, bathroom and kitchenette - appliances and furniture are tasteful and of a high quality - staff was exceptionally professional and welcoming

“Top notch hospitality”

This was a great stay! We booked a double and an apartment for our group of 6 and from the first moment we felt at home. The apt comes with 2 BDR/2 Bathrooms kitchen and patio - and even a smaller room that can comfortably host one person . The bathrooms were spacious and well maintained, the beds comfortable, the linens top quality and very clean, the breakfast (included in the price - and served every morning in our rooms) full of choices. The kitchen was equipped with everything one needs if one wants to cook. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, top notch hospitality from booking to check-out!

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful area which has terrific views over the valley. The birds are chirping and all times and it’s a delight to wake up with their song every day. We appreciated the warm reception of Natasa and the fact that the room could be cleaned every day. We also appreciated the fact that the room was at all times warm.

Calm and relaxing atmosphere with excellent service. Would definitely stay here again.
