Esperides Hotel is located in Myrtos, on the outskirts of Ierapetra, only 200 metres away from the beach. It offers sunny rooms with Wi-Fi, a traditional Cretan tavern, 2 bars and a pool. Close to the main Myrtos area, you have to walk for a couple of minutes around 3’ with normal pace. The room is clean. The personnel is kind. I don’t get why it is rated with less than 9/10. The hotel is value for money. I am very satisfied.

“A Lovely Find”
A lovely family owned and run hotel, well located in very nice grounds. A lovely, large swimming pool, lots of outdoor and indoor space to meet up at around the bar and restaurant. Our room, 222, was very nice, on the quieter and cooler, mountain facing side. A nice bathroom, with great shower and a splendid, super king, bed. Breakfast was nice, with a nice selection of food which increased as the season opened up, with more guests staying. On our last morning we left early and the lovely owners arranged for breakfast to be served early, which was extremely helpful. Mirtos is a lovely village, with a few very good restaurants, particularly La Sera, which we visited twice. There's also a selection of bars and restaurants alongside the beautiful beach. In hindsight, we should have spent 5, rather than 3 nights here and would certainly return to the same hotel on any future visits.

We spent our 5th vacation in this hotel, where we always can find a familiar atmoaphere, cleaning is on daily basia, if you want to have a breakfast, you can taste the great kitchen, the location ia great.

“Great value & welcoming hotel”
A warm welcome at this hotel. Rooms are basic, but really clean. Great shower and nice to have coffee/tea making facilities and a small fridge in the room. Our rooms did not have sea views, but small balconies and views across to the mountain instead. Excellent value for money.

Our third trip to Mirtos. First time at this time of year. Great to use the pool in the warmer weather. Fab new coffee machine was a welcome improvement as was the super hairdryer (and diffuser) in the room.

“All in all, it was a pleasant stay!”
Casual hotel, value for money. We stayed for one night and it was ideal for what we needed. It is close to the main Myrtos area, 3 minutes on foot. Our balcony had a nice sea view. Although it was small you could sit and hang your bathing suits and towels. Clean and renovated room with a very comfortable bed mattress.
