The location was amazing, true ski in ski out. Kaz and his family couldn’t be more helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was individual served each morning, delicious and filling for a big day on the slopes. The room was spotless and the amenities, it is a traditional shared bathroom, so be prepared to possibly wait for a shower.

Conveniently located at a ski-in ski out location with beautiful snow resort view from the villa. Kaz and Moko have gone above and beyond to look after their guests. Awesome breakfast and dinner. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

“The Gem of Myoko Kogen”

We absolutely loved our stay at Repos. The building is charming perched on the mountain with beautiful views. It's located just out of town but the walk into town is super easy. You can ski in and ski out with great facilities to store and dry ski gear. Kaz and his wife are exceptional hosts and very generous with their time, often offering to drive us places when they were free or organising things for us if they weren't. Kaz's dinner was also the best we ate in Myoko Kogen so is a must. The rooms are warm and clean. We had a shared bathroom room and were super happy with the facilities. The shower room with the onsen-style private bath is also an excellent way to round out a days skiing. Highly recommend this place and we'll happily be back!

“Warm, inviting stay!”

The location is magical, right near the snow. The owners and staff go above and beyond and took every effort to make sure we were comfortable. This is a traditional type of Japanese snow stay, we had a shared bathroom and toilet. The rooms have western beds. There are not many rooms in the hotel but I felt very comfortable using shared facilities. The rooms are also very large for Japanese standards. If you need a private bathroom the supreme suite offers this, it has a main area with bunks, and a separate bedroom. The shared bathrooms were lovely, and the onsen is very hot and revitalising! This is there perfect spot for a romantic stay or those travelling in a family - it is a quiet place, but kid friendly after a long day on the snow!

This property is amazing. Walk on to the slopes and snowboard down Very friendly staff, great breaky. The dinner blew us away, the best we had in Japan. Definitely recommend Villa Monrepos. Hope to be back next year

Location, overlooking the gondola, in the snow, the absolute definition of ski in and out yet walking distance to restaurants. Excellent staff, Japanese family owned and operated, common area drying room. helpful on bookings, passes, transport, rentals. The real life images are better. Rooms much bigger than described.

Amazing hospitality, food and service. Location is great. We were very comfortable with the shared bathrooms and Onsen - the bathrooms were nearby and very clean. Bedrooms were great, frequently cleaned and beds very comfortable. Hosts Kazu and Moko were amazing and went out of their way to look after us. Excellent value for money and we have already booked for next year!

Location was perfect. Ski in ski out and just a 10 minute walk into the heart of town. Comfortable- the beds were so comfy. There was a gorgeous fire that you could sit around on an evening and enjoy your own food and drinks. They also had a lovely dinner and breakfast area. Kazu and his family were so unbelievably accommodating!!! Picking us up from the station and taking us into town when one of my friends was injured. Ski hire was easy and cheap through the hotel link. We also got discounted lift passes through the hotel voucher. All staff at the hotel were amazing. A huge thank you for making our stay so perfect.

Kaz and Moko are exceptional hosts who truly made our stay exceptional, often going out their way to help make our stay super special. Villa Monrepos is a beautiful ski lodge that offers tru ski in ski out. The facilities are superb with a board room, drying room, and wax station. It is super clean with comfy beds, fluffy pillows, and a traditional bath house downstairs, which is great for a soak after a day on the hill. We will most definitely be back.

The location right beside the piste was excellent, truly ski in, ski out. It's a short 10 min walk to town where there are lots of cafes and restaurants. A shuttle bus to all the local resorts is just at the bottom of the piste. The staff were very helpful and made our stay an absolute pleasure. We had dinner each evening and the quality and variety of food was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious and hearty with a mixture of western and Japanese foods offered. The rooms were spacious and the beds firm but comfortable.

Fantastic location a short walk to the Akakura Kanko gondola, or a ski if the snow is good. Friendly staff who are happy to help with lift passes and ski/snowboard hire, as well as transfers.
