“I’ll be back in the future”
Everything is brilliant, great people to communicate with and breakfast is essential for booking from my experience. The environment is cute to be in, proper Japanese fashioned accommodation and also respectful of privacy ( I spent 15 days here from New Zealand ). The onsen spa is a golden experience. Getting stuck in and understanding the family environment is great fun too, always up for conversations.

The property owner; kentaro is an extremely kind man who runs the ryokan with the rest of his family. They are extremely kind and generous, in addition to very cleanly and orderly.

“Would come back here.”
Great family owned Ryokan.. Onsen has the best view and the breakfast was fantastic. Plus it's 50m to the Sekionsen ski lift..

“Genuine, family-run ryokan a stones throw from seki onsen ski fields, lovely hosts, great food, would recommend.”
We loved staying at Tomiya Ryokan. The management were very kind friendly and welcoming, and happy to help in any way they could. The food was excellent, and we had some delicious dinners there - make sure to order ahead. The onsen was perfect, perfect temperature with wonderful relaxing views after a big day on the ski slopes. Communication both before our arrival and whilst we were there was good.

“amazing ryokan, superb mountain view iron rich onsen, come in winter though! and with a car”
amazing onsen. me and my partner came in the off season (may) and we had a wonderful experience, however it is more of a place for a day trip in the off season. we dont have a car and so we booked 2 nights. you can take the sekiyama bus it runs till 6pm. great place that i wish we came to in the winter! however it was nice because it was very private, only myself and my partner were staying. the english of the innmaster is pretty good but needed to use my japanese and some translating to aid! the onsen was beautifully iron rich. with a view of the mountains!
