Space is great, each room has their toilet, great to have a fire place and very big and good common room. Responsive and nice hosts. Closely situated to most skiing areas.

Lisa and Dave were the most attentive hosts that I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. The lodge was warm and clean, breakfast was amazing with lots of options. Dave was generous with his local knowledge of the mountains, and Lisa was a true nurturer, going above and beyond for me when I was feeling unwell. We absolutely will be booking again in the future!

“Awesome”

Our stay at Kitsune Lodge was magic. Lisa and Dave were sensational hosts. They provided a really homely and relaxed atmosphere and were incredibly helpful. They take the guests to the ski fields and dinners at local restaurants, but just hanging around the lodge and chatting to them and the other guests was great fun and made the trip really special. We were very lucky to have an awesome group of people staying when we did, and we all got along so well. Furthermore, the skiing at Myoko was epic. We had so much snow! Most days were spent skiing in fresh, deep powder!

Dave and Lisa looked after us from the start to finish of our booking, from picking us up from the bus terminal to dropping us off and the train station at the end. Throughout our stay they both went above and beyond. Catering to all the guests at the lodge we all felt like family. I couldn't recommend this lodge more highly, super comfortable, hassle free with drop offs and pick ups everyday to which ever ski resort we wanted to ride, dave even came and showed us the best spots to ride on the mountains. We were dropped off and picked up at whichever restaurant we wanted to eat at nightly, it felt like home and was very sad to leave at the end. We will be back 100%.

Everything about Red Fox was exceptional. Beautifully renovated lodge, amazing decor, and comfortable beds & cozy duvet! Their communal area is my fave because of the fireplace & just a nice space to hang out after a day in the slopes. Breakfast was included & delicious - all you need: coffee; tea; Japanese bread; granola cereal fruits yoghurt eggs ! Just right before we ride! We have developed such great friendships with the hosts now & also made new friends with others that stayed in the lodge! The hosts made us feel at home & made sure we had amazing dinners & the best off piste runs ;) 10/10.

We had an amazing stay at Red Fox in February. Lisa and Dave were the most amazing, kindest and friendliest hosts we could have imagined. They build a family atmosphere in the lodge and help everyone to get the most out of their trip, whether that’s advice on where to ski, ferrying you to restaurants, or just spending time getting to know and care about you.

We couldn’t have wished for better hosts. With an easy going attitude they have made this an unforgettable stay! Lisa knows all the good restaurants in town and organizes some really cool day trips! Dave showed us very cool off-piste runs in all of the nearby resorts 👍🏽 There is a courtesy bus for pick-ups at the resorts and restaurants. The lodge is really cozy and our beds where very comfortable. See you soon!

Red Fox is centrally located between all three ski areas, there is a courtesy bus for dropping off at restaurants ect. Nothing is to much trouble. The central lounge has an open fire, it’s very social and well equipped.

A fantastic lodge run by an Australian couple who just wanted you to feel at home. Great shuttle service to and from the very close ski fields, dinner locations and your arrival and departure points. The lodge included a lovely lounge area that encouraged guests to mingle and chat. Beds were super comfortable. Hosts have a wealth of knowledge of the area and ski runs that they share to make your trip enjoyable. Dave went out of his way to help us rent powder ski's when our ski's didn't handle the powder conditions.

Great location, hosts are extremely friendly and accomodating, and the additional service of being driven to anywhere you need to go made the property a fantastic choice for those wanting to ski or snowboard Myoko.

Love the feeling of home it provides, didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. Owners are fantastic at dropping you where you need to go within Myokokogen. Ski resorts within 5 mins drive, perfect for having a choice every couple of days. Rooms are beautiful with great views of all the snow and surrounds, very cosy and warm.

Great location close to ski fields and great dining options also a short walk to Onsen and tourist centre. The lodge has a warm cosy feel on a nice quiet street.

The location was great - very close to 4 skiing resorts. It is not on the main road so car noise is very minimal. Parking facilities were available. Breakfast was very good with variety of products and rotation of continental and cooked breakfast. Rooms were good, clean and worm with enough space for the family and the ski clothing. Dedicated ski/snowboard equipment storage room was also available. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming!
