What an amazing place to stay in Myoko. Emily and Josh were fantastic and went out of there way to look after diet concerns and transport. Restaurant bookings were no problem and Nathan was a wonderful host. Had a great time. Akiko provided excellent in house meals.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfast was great and they provide transfers to the ski lifts and into town. The staff were all very helpful.

“Family vibe and great value”

We stayed for 6 nights at Myoko House, family of 4 in the Japaneses Room. Nathan and the team where very welcoming and made us feel at home from the start. It has a ski lodge vibe with other families to chat with and share a drink while watching the sumo on the TV. Room was very comfortable, showers while shared were hot and strong. Breakfast included simple cereal, toast, tea and coffee plus a hot selection each morning, the highlight is the inhouse dinner you can order, made by Nathans wife Akiko, bento boxes and a hotpot!! It's a little walk to the main town but they will drop you off for dinner and it's downhill home, about 20min. Drop off and pick up each day at any of the 4 main ski hills and transfers to and from the train station. Thanks Nathan and Akiko for having us, hope to be back

“Excellent value and great staff! Will be back!”

Breakfasts were fantastic! They were different everyday so never boring and always had the option of toast if you wanted something plain. There's only 16-18 people that can stay at the place at any time so it's never overwhelming with people. You had a kitchen if you wanted to use it and a spare lounge out the back if you needed a break. The on site dinner is delicious and well worth staying in for if it's a snowy night! The heaters in the room were very effective and ensured you kept snugged! The pillows and mattresses were also very comfy. Almost like memory foam for the mattresses. Washing was super quick, just give to the staff and they will take care of it. In terms of skiing transport - you get two slots to be dropped off in the morning and get picked up at a certain time in the afternoon. Very handy with the limited bus services that were running at the time. Worth noting that it is a 20min walk from the village post dinner (they drop you in town for dinner) but I always find that a good thing to do a post dinner walk!

Great breakfast and options to stay in for dinner. The transfers to the ski areas in the morning and back in afternoon were fantastic and so convenient. Friendly staff and great clean facilities. Thanks so much Nathan, Akiko and team!

The room is quite spacious compare to the normal japanese standard. The hotel is quite cozy, the common areas are super nice.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay wonderful. The rooms were spacious and we ate dinner several times at the property which was great. Definitely would stay here again.

Nathan and Akiko were very friendly and generous hosts. Every meal was exceptional - for both breakfasts and the in house restaurant. They also assisted greatly with providing recommendations and assisting with securing reservations. The bathrooms were spacious, clean, and there were heaters available for the dressing area as well. I will say it was great how quickly the showers heated up too. The beds were very comfortable and the natural light was ample during the day. There were multiple break out spaces that were cosy and provided opportunities to either have some space or mingle with others. This was a wonderful stay and whilst there I met some repeat guests - it's really no wonder people return as my stay was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan.
