“WE LOVED IT 🥰”

Me and my friend stayed here from the 24th to the 2nd & we absolutely loved it. The host is so adorable and super helpful with everyone like bus times, lift ticket discounts, rental discounts, making us reservations and even helping out with our washing. She was truely incredibly generous and absolutely amazing loved her lots she made us feel like we were at home. She went above and beyond for us:) The beds were soooo comfy the doonas and blankets were massive. We had a heater in our room which heated up the room insanely fast. Don’t even get me started on the Onsen it was so relaxing and the perfect temperature not to hot not to cold. 3 min walk to banbi bus stop & 5 minute walk to alpine brick which takes you to every resort. Don’t need a car when staying here!!! It was a 11/10 stay especially for so cheap and such comfort. The dry room was huge and could fit a lot of stuff and the area was spaced out. Please wash your dishes though don’t make her do it :( We truely loved it and it was amazing thank you so so so much wonderful women we love you ❤️ will definitely be coming back hopefully 🤞 100/10

The host was very gracious in helping us with everything, from arranging taxis to finding rentals to recommending food to discounting ski lift tickets. I also really liked the personal onsen in the accommodation itself, as well as the traditional room with the kotatsu making our stay very comfortable.

My son and I spent a week here in late Jan / early Feb 2025 - loved it. Run by an older Japanese couple who were lovely and super helpful - and had discount tickets for the local hill - and the onsen at the end of the day was amazing. Quiet neighbourhood but easy 10 mins walk to the lift, a couple of good and cheap ramen joints and mini marts with everything you need.

The breakfast was amazing, most days we did not eat lunch, and that's with skiing most of the day. The hosts are gracious and friendly helping with bus timetables & booking taxis, this also enabled us to save money. The bathroom with the onsen style bath is a must after skiing all day. The drying room for ski gear was great. We even walked home from the ski field, Ikenotaira only ten minutes down hill. Two restaurants, a five-minute walk from the accommodation. Both are excellent, well priced with beautiful traditional Japanese food. A lovely quiet stay.

Our stay at this lodge was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Yukiko-san, the incredible host. She is not only kind and caring but also has a great sense of humor, making our experience even more special. The lodge itself offers a truly authentic Japanese experience. The breakfasts were delightful—we enjoyed both traditional Japanese and Western options, all prepared with great care. Yukiko-san went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. She helped us get discounted ski lift tickets, arranged a taxi, and always made sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was simply sitting down for tea and chatting with Yukiko-san using Google Translate—it truly felt like making a new friend in Japan. If you’re looking for a place that combines warmth, authenticity, and excellent hospitality, this is the perfect spot. We highly, highly recommend it!

It was comfortable, with a nice hot onsen and facilities such as a kitchenette, ski room and laundry. The host was very friendly and informative.

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to fulfill our needs. Breakfasts were sensational!

“Amazing Japanese Experience”

The experience of staying in a traditional Japanese home/inn is amazing. Although dated, but it is tidy and clean. Bit of character and charm in this lovely lodge. Surrounding views are amazing! The owners only speak Japanese, but makes the effort to use Google Translate to help communication. Google doesn't get it right all the time, but we managed. Lovely old couple managing the place. You can pay a little more to arrange for the owner to cook you a traditional Japanese breakfast. It's the best breakfast I ever had! Great for people who are willing to understand the Japanese culture and experience the traditional Japanese way.

Excellent location to all the Myoko ski resorts/fields and the hospitality was great too. The elderly lady gave us a detailed tour of the home.

Great location, close to ski fields (some even walking distance) and restaurants. It has its own onsens that were nice to use after a day of snowboarding. Rooms were spacious with lots of storage. Lots of parking outside. The lady who runs the accommodation is very nice and gave us some fruits and vegetables.
