the location was good, close enough to everything that is was an easy 2-5 min walk but out of the way enough that is was quiet at night. Onsen facilities were quiet and relaxing.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Myosen! The room was clean and big enough for our family of 4. The room was warm and the floor beds were very comfortable. We booked a room with a toilet and shower, which was clean and new. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect, very close to the Main Street (where you can find everything you need) and close to the ski slopes. My 4 year old daughter was happily able to walk.

Nice traditional “ryokan” style accommodation with hotel onsen that you can book out privately. Simple western style breakfast also available.

Great location to access the ski resorts in Myoko with shuttle buses a short walk away. Very easy to walk to akakura onsen ski lifts, restaurants, bars and convenience store. Futon beds were comfortable! Cory was really helpful too.

Excellent location, walk distance to ski lifts, shuttle bus and many restaurants and shops. Nice onsen. Our room was decorated in japanese style - comfortable. Ski /boots dry room well set up.

The staff were next level helpful and the location is great! The facilities are a little dated, paint peeling, some doors didn’t shut well. Drying room didn’t dry the skin clothes much. But overall we had a great stay! Would stay again

“Akkaura was a small little town which was nice to visit but we won’t go back to this hotel.”
