Definitely recommend! Loved the communal lounge area with comfy couches, TV, massage chair and huge windows looking directly onto Akakura Kanko ski field. Location was outstanding - right across the road from the ski field and buses for other resorts. Great drying room, laundry and lovely little onsen. Basic rooms, although very cold! There was a wee diesel heater but we didn’t use it due to the fumes.

The location was great with only 8 min walk from main Akakura Onsen town-center. Very close to big gondola lift which sells ski passes. Nice to have ski rental shop just below (with hotel discount!). I also loved the room aestethic with the Japanese style table. Hotel even sorted a ride to nearest train station (Myoko Kogen) on our final day.

The location was great, the staff very accomodating and helpful. You get coupons for the resorts. Super close to the mountain and rentals, could also get to town via a 8 min walk.

The staff are the most helpful and proactive that I've ever experienced in Japan. They can deliver your board/ski's to black cat delivery and then their final delivery location without you having to go there. Just fill in the sheet at reception, pay with card or cash and they will handle the rest. It's super quiet and peaceful. The drying room is huge and spacious, unlike most. The food is delicious. You get discounts for the slopes. The room is really spacious and the shower has great water pressure. There is also a mad onsen in the basement. The place is across the road from the gondola, so you can ski until it closes and then just walk across the road and go to bed. Just down the road from Akakura onsen too, where all the restaurants and shops are.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Moc! The location is excellent and they went above and beyond to help me out when I fractured my wrist, truly kind people. I look forward to visiting again.

The staff were lovely and the location was perfect! A short walk into the local town and across the road from the ski resort!

The location of Hotel Moc is directly across the road from the Akakan ski resort and lifts. Perfect for our 8 day stay. The dinners at the hotel were outstanding for quality and value. We also appreciated the pick up and drop off at the station. Great helpful staff. Thank you.

Good place for the price. Onsen is nice. Across the ride from the resort. Breakfast was pretty basic for the Western style but the Japanese style was a lot better. This place does the basics well.
