“Perfect!”

The house is simply amazing, it really is a villa. Lots of space, and it is clear that everything is taken care of with lots of eye for detail and love. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Mykines is a great starting place for many interesting visits in the Argolis/Corinth area, and of course Mycenae itself. We had a wonderful time.

Beautifully renovated house, with secure parking and thoughtful, helpful hosts. Good location for visiting Archaelogical sites at Mycenae, Nemea, Epidaurus, and Corinth. Unfortunately the most interesting restaurant in town seems to be booked out in advance by tour groups for lunch, and not open for dinner, so we didn't get to try it, but that certainly wouldn't deter my from recommending Villa Mykines.

“A great double storey house, in a very quiet neighbourhood, 5 minutes from archaeological site”

Villa Mykines Staying for 4 days, very close to the ancient sites, we choose this place for its almost quiet neighbourhood! (Darn dogs barking incessantly didn’t make it that peaceful) Just 2 of us, but since we are on a fairly long south euro journey with appropriate amount of luggage, we decided to do book the villa, which has 4 bedrooms over 2 floors! The instruction manual of the do’s and dont’s was probably the best ever! A must read, almost like a novel! 💯 pointer! The kitchen is almost overkill, too much equipment and too many gadgets, great for home entertainment! (There is little that they don’t provide) The building is fairly new Its design is pretty much a 70th 80th style, but clean and neat, so quite ok. Also what was a wonderful surprise that both Orange & Lemon trees are within the compound, super nice! However, we experienced temperatures of 3C at night, warming up to 13-15 at day time, but fully sunny, 2nd week of December! Rooms were pretty cold at night despite heaters, but there were a couple of thick covers in the cupboards that helped! Internet started fantastic, then overnight it disappeared, owner rep worked on it! (The weird thing it’s now the 2nd property in Greece with this problem) so better have roaming if access is needed! Got fixed after dozen or so WhatsApp messages either owner, between 8am and finally connected at 12.30! (Fault was with internet service provider) The town was mostly super quiet, but that suited us real well, peace was what we wanted & got! “Everything was perfect!”

Very quiet location, perfect air-conditioning in every bedroom and extremely accommodating and responsive hosts! We arrived very late (1:30pm) due to a plane delay but we still received a warm welcome. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Neighbour has a darling dog whom our kids loved. Shops and restaurants are just a stone's throw away. Easy parking. We would absolutely not hesitate to come again as we felt like at home.

“Exceptional experience”

Very clean and spacious villa with 4 big bedrooms. Fully equipped and nicely decorated. Beautiful balconies for every room at upper level. Have washing machine and dryer, which are live saver for family traveling. The villa has everything we need and so much more from the kind owner.

This is a beautiful house which is newly built and is very nicely done, using best materials and clever design. We were a family of 6 and we all had lots of space. The house is full of light, there is a really nice terrace on the ground floor and balconies with great views on the first floor. Everything and every detail is really well thought through. All windows have mosquito nets. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, we had everything we needed and even more. Welcome treats were fantastic, especially the fresh oranges which made the kids particularly happy. The house has a soul, it was built on the family land but completely new with love and care. My father who builds houses was really impressed with the quality of the building which is quite rare in the area. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, the communication was instant, the place was spotless clean, the area is quiet and the parking can't be more convenient. The hosts gave great tips on the activities in the area so overall we had a great time and wished we stayed longer. Totally recommend this house and the lovely hosts George and Eirini to all family travellers who want to enjoy Mykines in a pleasant and comfortable set up.
