This is one of the most fabulous hotels I have ever stayed in. The food is sensational, the staff incredible, amazing views, comfortable beds, fantastic garden. Spa and massage was 10/10.

I am a repeat visitor and the staff welcome me by name. Glad to take my overseas visitors there on way between Nbi and Meru. Beautiful grounds, close wildlife encounters, views, personal attention. Good food selection. Gentle horse ride. Fire place and hot water bottle in room.

Huge room with fireplace, enormous bathroom, great hot shower. Meals fresh and varied each day. Very attentive staff. Gorgeous grounds w impala, zebra, bushbuck, peacock, baboon and colobos wandering. Great value for money. Short drive from Nairobi. Privacy between rooms.

Great location. Kids enjoyed the horse riding and the nature walk was great.

“Run down facilities and unresponsive staff”

Sadly, the property does not resemble the pictures. While the location would be nice, the facilities are run down or out of order. The tennis court is completely broken up and cannot be played on, the golf court only has one or two broken flags left and is completely overgrown and broken up and thus cannot be played either, the pool dirty, the rooms run down, etc. When trying to reach out to the staff on site regarding a free cancellation and early checkout, they just forwarded us to the management team in Nairobi that never picked up or responded neither via mail nor booking.com. Unacceptable for the price of the rooms.

We liked the serenity, views, restaurant, food was delicious and healthy, house lady was very helpful and sweet, the restaurant staff were welcoming and helpful, one even brought my forgotten umbrella after dinner which is the gesture that I will remember.
