This is a rural property, so we had our evening meal onsite. Our meal was ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, three home cooked,excellent and generous courses and amazing value for money. The breakfast was equally excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and keen to provide a quality service. We had a peaceful nights sleep in our comfortable room. Would n't hesitate to recommend or restay.

“Fun & Fab Food on a Family Farm and Floppy Old Coco Was All Cuddles & Charm”

This hotel exceeded our expectations for a lovely, truly rural location. It is part of an actual working cattle family farm that has developed a couple of tourist properties. Carmen and her friendly family made us very welcome and we were even treated to an impromptu performance on the bagpipes by one of the sons! We had a nice room with exposed stone walls and a side balcony that offered views of the fields and scenery. Whilst not quite in view, the coast and Nemina surf beach are only half an hour's walk away. Our room was at the back and a bit narrower than the front upper rooms, so you might want to select a 'mountain view' room if you'd like more space and a front view. Carmen's cooking is legendary and it is well worth having at least one dinner there. We had two: their own beef and then hake another night. They were excellent and, with starters and dessert, there was masses of food! Their selection of wines are great, we loved the Bilbao Rioja - luscious and smooth. They have beer too. Last but not least is Coco the dog, a big, cuddly, fluffy pooch who will roll on his back for a tummy rub. We hope your painful paw gets better soon Coco! xx

Quality of breakfast and evening meals was excellent. Room was so clean and comfortable. Family owners were friendly and helpful with advice on locality. Lovely rural location and close to magnificent coastal scenery.

Everything was spectacular. As the hotel is rural not a lot of things to do around the area. The owners made us an exceptional evening meal, Breakfast was exceptional too. Nothing to much for the hotel owners to do and everything done with ease. Wonderful stop over

The hotel is charming - decorated with great care and style, very homely. The food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent - a highlight of the stay. The beds are very comfortable and it was all immaculately clean.

Carmen is extremely kind and warm, and has a personal touch. After walking the Camino Portuguese way, we took a bus from Santiago de compostela to Muxia and walking the Camino a Muxia-Fisterra way. The accommodation was a little far from the Camino Muxia-Fisterra route, but its location was so peaceful and beautiful. We asked Carmen if she could take us by car to a village along the Camino Muxia-Fisterra route and she said "yes" without any hesitation. On the way there, she even guided us to the lighthouse as well. Carmen is also an excellent cook. Breakfast and dinner were so delicious 😋
