Located 2 km from Riihivuori Ski Resort, this cottage is just 30 metres from Lake Päijänne. It features 2 private saunas, a fully equipped kitchen and furnished, lake-view terrace. Kalaranta Cottage has 1 bedroom, a sleeping loft and bathroom with a shower. The ground floor, open-plan room includes a dining area, fireplace and seating area with a flat-screen TV. A BBQ, fish-smoking oven and row boat are available to use for free. Guests can also enjoy Kalaranta’s in-cottage sauna, along with a lake-side sauna. Fishing and swimming in the lake are common area activities, as well as cross-country skiing and hiking. Jyväskylä is 25 minutes’ drive away, while the town of Muurame is 5 km from the cottage.

“Long story short: magnificent!”
The cottage was beautifully located in the middle of an forest with direct access to the lake. Very quite and calm. Stunning views and sunrises over the lake! We loved using the sauna and cooling of in the lake. The cottage itself was very cozy, could fit 5 people and has an big eating/living space. The kitchen was very well equipped, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee machine, everything you need for cooking (including spices). It was very clean when we arrived. We will definitely return to this property!
