Overview
Masseria Lacco is 2 km outside Muro Leccese in the Salento countryside. A working farm, it has its own crop fields and vegetable patches and produces olive oil, cakes, jams and crisp bread. This property was built in 1740 and is surrounded by citrus trees, pear trees and pomegranate trees. It features a restaurant with 2 dining halls, both with a fireplace. You can enjoy Salento cuisine made using home-grown ingredients. The buffet breakfast includes homemade cakes and jams. Rooms at Masseria Lacco are air conditioned and come with an LCD TV, fridge and private bathroom with hairdryer. Some have barrelled ceilings and floors in Chianiche, a material that is typical of the Salento area. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Free parking is provided and a car is recommended as public transport is scarce. Popular local activities include trekking and cycling. The popular seaside town of Otranto is 15 minutes' drive away. The historic city of Lecce is 30 minutes away by car.

“Very good stay!”
Giulia was a lovely host and made sure everything was comfortable. The place was lovely with a nice pool. The room was also comfortable. Parking was good and Giulia made a lovely home made breakfast.

“A lovely stay”
Everything was Perfect. The Masseria is located in a very quiet area. It's charming and well renovated. Fernando, Giulia and their son are adorable and very welcoming. We had dinner there and it was divine. Everything is localy produced and well cooked. The swimming pool is very nice to relax after a day visiting the area. We recommend this typical accommodation.

Our stay at Masseria Lacco felt like stepping into a chapter of Salento’s history, with all the comforts of modern living. The hosts, Giulia and Ferdinando, greeted us as if family, while dinners—crafted from fresh farm produce—were nothing short of spectacular. Breakfasts were a daily treat, with Giulia’s homemade pasticciotto and jams - do not forget to ask for tomato salad! My room was peaceful, immaculately clean, and exquisitely furnished with traditional vaulted ceilings and cool tile floors. With a lovely pool, serene surroundings, and a convenient location close to Otranto and Lecce, it was the perfect escape. Highly recommend for anyone seeking authenticity, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality—one of our favorite stays in Italy.

Everything was simply perfect! Most of all, the warm and personal hospitality from Giulia, Ferdinando, and Matteo,truly passionate hosts. Matteo treated us every evening to delicious, authentic Italian dinners ,a big thank you for that! The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily, with fresh towels every other day. The Masseria is ideally located,just 10 minutes from Otranto and beautiful beaches. The value for money is excellent. We felt completely at home and will definitely return if we find ourselves back in Puglia. Highly recommended!

I liked, that the owners were available for everything. Food is super excellent. Nice room and great nature stay in the masseria to enjoy the evening. Also cities are near for a quick ride with the car 5-10 minutes.

Beautiful, renovated room facing out onto a pretty and peaceful courtyard. Hostess showed concern on last evening when spouse unwell. Evening meal 27.00 per head.

The location & the beauty of the place were just PERFECT. We spent a beautiful stay there ! The room was really comfy and the staff very nice. But what we love the most was the Giulia's Pasticciotto ! The BEST of all Puglia area ! We already miss them for breakfast. Please send us some in France !

Very good room clean and fresh ,mint condition, location good for getting everywhere but you need car. Owners very helpful and friendly, welcomes you at property and present on every meal. As we have car problem owner organised for us rental car and allow us to par our car at masseria eve 2 days after we was gone BIG Thank You for that. Fancy dinner.
