A hidden gem in Salento! Masseria 30 Mogge is a secluded and tranquil farmhouse restored to be a B&B, yet perfectly located near Otranto and Santa Cesarea Terme. The estate and rooms are beautifully simple, reflecting the rural setting with quality and attention to detail. The true highlight was Sonia’s warm hospitality and the incredible breakfasts she prepared each morning, showcasing fresh local products and traditional delicacies. She is an amazing person who manages to take great care of her guests while running her wine business and looking after her family, including four cats :) Sonia and her family were not only welcoming and accommodating but also full of knowledge about the best places to explore nearby. Our four days there flew by, and it was a real pleasure to be their guests. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and peaceful stay.

We had an exceptional stay. The Masseria was beautiful, quiet and the breakfast was delicious. It had a range of sweet and savoury things on offer that were presented beautifully. The hosts were so welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. Sonia helped with beach recommendations and spent time helping us secure a lido. The grill that the family put on was a great way to meet the other guests (and the whole family!) and was a really nice insight into Italian culture.

We cannot recommend this place enough! Everything was absolutely perfect and the hosts (Sonia & Bartolo) couldn’t have been more accommodating. The breakfast spread was delicious every morning and Sonia helped us plan our days out, she also packed a lunch box with any left overs from breakfast for our lunch! Sonia and Barto kindly hosted an evening meal which was by far our favourite night. We chatted with guests, ate fresh food and drunk their amazing wine! :) The facilities were great. Rooms had a modern touch, and were cleaned every afternoon. The pool was filled with natural water which they extracted from the ground themselves, the chlorine also natural, making it so fresh to swim in. Salento was truly beautiful but staying at Masseria 30 Mogge really made this a trip to remember, thank you!!! We hope to return soon!!!

“Like staying with a family but with all the luxuries of a hotel!”
We had a wonderful stay at Masseria 30 Mogge. The Masseria is even more beautiful in real life than the pictures and Sonia and Bartolo were exceptional hosts. They made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful with recommendations for local beaches and restaurants as well as ensuring our 2 year old was always happy! As much as we loved Salento, some of the highlights from our trip were at the Masseria, such as making Orecchiette and a lovely BBQ dinner with fellow guests. It was like staying with an Italian family but with all of the comforts, luxuries and privacy of a hotel as well.
