We would like to thank the owner of "Lomamaja Pekonen Apartments". We stayed with our family in one of the houses. We liked everything very much. Bright large living room and bedroom, comfortable beds and good linen. Convenient and functional layout of the rooms. Excellent view from the window. And good location. We will definitely come back again!

Was met with a nice welcome. When entered the cabin it was warm and so super clean. The cabin had everything we needed for a night stay, but suits for even longer stays. Beds were so comfortable. The sauna was such a bonus. The shower had high pressure, which is always nice😊 It felt very like home.

Very good ascetic apartment, located on top of the hill with nice view. Great location - quite and downtown with shops only few minutes away. Clean and comfortable. Very good sauna in the apartment. Kitchen was well equiped. Wifi worked well. When it suddenly stopped working, host reaction to my question was very fast and connection has been restored in a couple of minutes.

“Dog friendly with parking at the cottage door!”

Everything was fantastic! Friendly host, spacious modern cottage with sauna. And for us the most important thing: dogs were welcome to stay in the cottage and the car could be parked right next to the cottage door. Good surroundings to walk dogs and shops + petrol station close by.

“Nice cottage to relax in”

Some parts of the cottage seem a bit older, but there is everything you might need and it is spacious. Sauna was great and the view from the terrace amazing! Lake with beach is nearby. Pallas Hiking routes are like 30 minutes drive.

In the morning raindeers were greeting us at the door ❤️ Dog friendly place & surroundings. Excellent that you can park car next to the cabin door!

Nice and silent place, what I recomend

A wonderful place with few on the river. The cottage was so clean, it sparkled. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help. It is my favorite stay on my way south or north. An extra bonus is the river to swim in after a long hot drive.
