“Great hotel for a night between travel days”

Nice historic hotel. We only spend one night, but the apartment was clean and comfortable. We also booked the breakfast and the croissants where divine. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating with

The hotel was not that good on terms of cleaning, the breakfast was not good.

main building looks like an old one with big ceilings and old fashion furniture. We did not sleep there but in a side building just in front. they also have a brand new top modern construction at the same place (which looks a bit shocking if you compare to the old main bulidings). Room was very big with comfortable bedding, a small kitchen where you can cook your meals. Breakfast was also excellent. They have in Summer a nice swimming pool (closed in May obviously when we stayed) and nice park. Hotel is 5 min walk to the main place of Muster (place du Marché) where you can observe the famous Alsace large birds nesting on the top of the buildings. There were even some at hotel's place. we had dinner at hotel restaurant and it was very good, and not overpriced as we were fearing.

I would like to highlight that the staff member was very kind and took great care of us. We really appreciated the excellent service. The room itself was perfect, except for the pillow, which was too high and firm for comfort. On a positive note, the suite and the bathroom in the new area were excellent, it was modern, spacious, and very comfortable. 😍

The hotel was old, there was a bad smell in the bathroom, and the room was cold in winter.

“Not what I expected….”

Location is ok as not far from colmar by car but overall not much to do in the area and when we tried to eat somewhere all 5/6 restaurants were fully booked all the time and they dont take you in if you go late.

“Beautiful hotel with free parking”

Free parking and bright room. Very comfortable stay. The town is very cute and lots of local farmer selling their own produces. I bought lots of local honey and drink. The hotel is near the local market. Easy to access by train. Very quiet hotel with good sleep.

“"Grand" hotel? Don't set your expectations too high”

The phrase "Grand Hotel" really does not apply. And I thought we booked a "deluxe" room. There was no cleaning service to speak of. The soap dispenser was defective, I put a note on it, and it was ignored. The wastebasket was not emptied. I don't think anybody even entered the bathroom. Not even a box of tissues anywhere. Breakfast was not impressive; one day not even cold cuts (meat) and the coffee machine ran out of water, people waited a long time. The room had a balcony, but there was only one chair in the room for a double room.

Excellent chalet style room with own front door, cooking facilities and patio area. Parking was good.

The location was excellent for visiting places if interest, and the hosts were helpful and welcoming. Accommodation was comfortable, clean and very quiet.

Very Nice swimming pool sturing hot days

We liked the swimming pool and the hotel was well placed. Glad it had a restaurant as those in town were full.
