The Hotel Palacio Branka is situated in a historic building in the heart of Mundaka, just 5 minutes from the beach. We tell the story of Mundaka. Explore the story of our building inspired by the history of our old fishing village. Our rooms dedicate their names to the most famous fishing boats in Mundaka. Set in The Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve offers Wi-Fi and a traditional bar with a big terrace. Mundaka and its legendary history with surfing inspired the concept of the Koba Bar. The charming restored house offers bright rooms with beamed ceilings and simple décor. Each room features a Smart TV, private bathroom with bathtub and free toiletries. The picturesque coastal location is internationally-renowned for surfing and other water sports. There is a variety of Basque restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Mundaka Train Station offers direct trains to Bilbao and Bermeo. Bilbao is 30 minutes’ drive, while Bilbao Airport is 20 km from the property.

“Lovely friendly hotel in excellent position to explore the town.”
Location was excellent. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but good. They were able to store my bicycle securely overnight.

“Very nice accommodation right in the city center”
Very nice accommodation just in the city center and close to the ocean. There is restaurant downstairs with very delicious food and drinks. Room was clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we need. Free parking is nearby 3mins by walk.

Great location in the small little town, good breakfast and outside bar area. We booked the underground parking nearby through the hotel which was a godsend as there is limited parking everywhere in the town.

“Overall fab I would recommend”
The girl and the man who manned the reception desk were very welcoming and friendly. They didn’t charge me for the half day parking, they were lovely to my kids. Great atmosphere in the bar each evening. Room comfortable bathroom great
