“Great for bikepackers - just could be cleaner.”
Two of us were bikepacking. There are very few options in this area and thought a house would give a flavour of life. Which it did. The place is spacious. The washing machine works nicely and the hosts gave washing powder. Its a few k from town but the manager organised a tuk tuk to the (very small) Cargills. The kitchen is decent enough. Rooms big. Beds comfy. And very secure compound. The owner was excellent at communication.

“Comfortable, quiet and very clean”
Very large villa with great facilities. Very comfortable and extremely clean. The manager was a lovely man who made sure we knew where everything was before leaving us in peace

The rooms are big and they provide anything that you might need — washing machine, iron, tea pot, etc. The location is fine if you have a vehicle. Lots of room and good air conditioning in the bedrooms. Very nice kitchen you can cook in. The manager is able to support you with anything. He is a very friendly and helpful man.

We stayed here on our cycling trip. The house is super well maintained and very clean. There is even a washing machine you can use. The owners were very caring via the phone and the manager made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this place .

“Great place to stay near Mullaitivu”
Sunset Chalet is great for people needing a place to stay near Mullaitivu. The handover and collection of keys went very smoothly. The house was all clean and everything worked. We went for an acceptable dinner about 1km back up the road.

The Chalet Manager was on time to let us in and was very helpful in finding a good tuk-tuk to take us to town for shopping as it is self catering. Air conditioning was quiet and effective. Bed sheets and towels were provided. This place was just what two tired cyclists needed.

Lovely home very close to where we wanted to visit. Very good price for the amount of space we got. Ac and fan and everything was functioning well. The host was very supportive and accommodating. 5*.

“Big Pleasant place to stay”
Big space, plenty of seating at the dining table and lounge area. Balcony nice to sit at with a breeze watching the sun go down. Quiet road. Couple of little shops within a short walk, more in town 15 minutes drive away. Sea is close, nice area to walk in ambecause there is little traffic. 1 bedroom has ac, another has a fan and the 3rd is currently empty Great ceiling fans in living area and 1 free standing fan. The house will be nice when its finished.

Amazing nice looking private house. If you want your privacy, this is the best option. The owner is very kind and speaks English well.
