The staff was SUPER friendly! They’re just amazing and very concerned with your comfort. The lakes’ view was something breathtaking. I just feel bad I couldn’t give any tips (it was the end of my stay and there is no ATM nearby). They also arranged a nice short boat trip. Thank you again for the nice stay and kindness. I do recommend!

Great place to sleep before hiking in National Park

“Good option to stay in Cyangugu/Kamembe area”

Location convenient, if you arrive at airport. Available early check-in, also was proposed breakfast for check-in day, for $6. I had a room with a view to the lake. WiFi was not working in my room, but I was provided mobile modem, which for me was even better, because I had connection all the stay. Administrator Giselle was exceptional: she was always available, happy to assist, and helped me with personal stuff problem.

Peace guest house is well maintained, filled with good stuffs and service. Have good view,and have options for different budgets. I loved that they had an amazing fire place near the shore, good security and 24/7 stuff service. I loved the way Thierry handled us everyone, as well Samuel, who had been active to execute every request we had, irrespective of time. Thanks to the management. We loved it

The rooms are clean, Hot Water and the property has a beautiful Lake Kivu view. Best Location I tell you. THAT IS ALL!

I had a wonderful experience at Peace Guest House. From the moment I arrived until I left the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Thierry who showed me a nearby spot to go swimming in the lake. Hot water and shower pressure were great, food was yummy and the room was very comfortable. The whole place truly provides peace and quiet, it was great.

Our experience at Peace Guest House in Rwanda was utterly disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. I don’t often leave reviews, but this is to warn anyone thinking of staying here. As seasoned travelers who have explored the continent for 10 months, we have never encountered such incompetence and lack of regard for guests' needs. The management of the place is completely lacking and it is disturbing to read all the positive reviews. The shower barely had any water pressure, and there was no hot water at all, despite all the reassurances in previous reviews that this has been fixed. The balconies have no chairs to sit on and the food is very basic. The service was unbelievably slow. It took a ridiculous 2 hours to get our very simple lunch, and even a simple coffee took a painful 45 minutes. This was by far the slowest service we've seen during our travels, and yes, we are used to slow service. After 45 minutes, still no one came to take our order so we had to look around the place for someone to order food from. To make matters worse, they charged us an outrageous $100 for a trip to Nyungwe National Park by car. And they didn't bother to tell us that the park was closed! We specifically asked if it was open before we went, and they assured us it was and told us they had called the park. Turns out no one had called the park to check. Their mistake wasted our time and money, and we missed out on visiting the park. When we told them we weren’t interested in paying 100$ for their mistake, they threatened to press charges. There was no proper management around, and it seems like the place is run by young people who didn’t receive proper training. But what really got to us was the complete lack of apologies. No sorry for the slow service that wasted our day, or for sending us on a long drive to a park that was closed. It's like they didn't care about their guests at all.

Staff were helpful, location was great.

“Warm, family-friendly service with beautiful and peaceful views across Lake Kivu to Bukavu”

The staff team, led by Olivier, were extremely helpful and kind with our large family group. They picked us up from the bus station, helped us to purchase onward tickets and were warm and friendly at all times.

Despite arriving at 5am, the staff were very happy to see me and check me in. It was very quiet during my stay and would reccomend

Have a nice view, near to airport.

We had a very nice view from our balcony. Our room was big and the price was not that high. We stayed there just for a night, because it is close to Nyungwe. For that it was perfect.
