“Great quiet accommodation”

A great owner was waiting for us after a long trip with dinner and wine. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is quiet and near the sea. The room is comfortable and great to rest after a trip. We will be back for sure. The owner speaks Serbian/Croatian/Slovenian, Italian and English, so you can easily communicate whatever you want.

The host was exceptionally hospitable and kind. The breakfast made with some fresh local ingredients was delicious. The dining space is wonderfully decorated with objects showing the history of the restaurant.

Amazing place with delicious dinner prepared by Paolo

I had an amazing time in Cigui. The host, Paolo, is a wonderful person. You can order dinner, which is perfect for enjoying the sunset while sipping the wine Paolo makes himself. It was one of the warmest, most welcoming places I’ve visited in Italy. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back.

Location is a perfect base for visiting towns and villages within 100k radius. A nice spot to start your day with a lovely breakfast and finish your day with an amazing fish dinner plus wines. A really super friendly team that will look after you.

Everything was wonderful, the view is beautiful, the staff are very kind, especially Powlo (the owner) goes above and beyond for his customers, he is very welcoming. Little Charlie (the cat) was so cute. The room was good.

The proprietor Paolo and Sandra couldn't have been more welcoming and the breakfast provided was ideal. I only stayed for the long weekend but it was the ideal place to stay, quiet with beautiful views.

Beautiful spot just outside of Trieste. Comfortable accommodation. Warm welcome with iced water that was so welcome in the warm weather. Highlight was the delicious and generous breakfast! My kind host just kept bringing me different things to try that I could hardly keep up! Can highly recommend

Lovely place uphill above Muggia, with (olive) gardens as a view. The owner was waiting for me after a long journey on my bike - and had an excellent dinner prepared especially for me.

The hospitality, the smiles, the generosity of the hosts: I came as a solo traveler as a big family reunion was organised, so they had plenty of other guests to attend to, and yet they took care of me feeling well and made sure I had everything. The food was great.

Fantastic view. Room was very large with decent sized fridge. Air conditioning worked well in the scorching summer heat. That was a big plus ! Hosts were super friendly and obliging.

We loved our stay at Paolo's place. The location was perfect if you are looking for a quiet place with scenic views. The view of the sea and the olive trees makes your day and then Paolo and Alessandra ensure that your stay is as comfortable as ever. We woke up every day to a generous breakfast and also had a great dinner one night. Our room was generous with all the amenities including an air-con, a much needed one during summer. Paolo is a very kind person and he talks to all of his guests and shares his stories. It makes for an interesting stay versus staying in hotels. He even dropped us off at the Trieste Centrale station for our return journey! His place is accessible by a bus to the centre and it felt like living the slow life (and we liked it) where we planned our travels to coincide with the bus timings. I even walked late night from the centre to his place and it was completely safe. I would definitely visit again if we are back in Muggia for any reason. Thank you Paolo and thank you Alessandra.

Excellent housemade dinner!

Paolo and the whole staff was super friendly. Room was very spacious. Location was very quiet with a beautiful view into a garden and the mediterian sea.

The hosts Paulo and Alessandra are lovely! The location is beautiful, the garden with olive and fig trees and the view make it the perfect place to stay. Breakfast was good, lunch & dinner with 6-7 courses and fresh local fish/seafood was absolutely delicious.
