Modern spacious house. Ensuites to all 6 bedrooms Air con in every bedroom. Breakfast included. Winery tours can be arranged from the house for a fee so no driving for us guests.

The rooms are well appointed with little touches like fresh flowers. The shared facilities were also exceptional. Breakfast was beyond expectation’s. The whole property is designed with the guests in mind.

Breakfast was very good and prepared by the host in the guesthouse dining area allowing for a good time of conversation with both hosts.

A Cozy Country Retreat – Five Stars All the Way! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home at Mudgee Guesthouse. Tucked away in a peaceful semi rural setting, this charming guesthouse has all modern comforts. The sitting room, centered around a beautifully maintained slow-combustion fireplace, became our favorite spot for unwinding, having a chat with other guests and a glass of local wine. The crackling fire and soft lounge created an atmosphere so warm and inviting that we found ourselves lingering long after the embers died down. Not that we used it as it was a little cold being the middle of winter there is also a pool and bbq area. Exceptional Hosts Our hosts, Brigette and Phill, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They greeted us with genuine warmth, offered insider tips on nearby wineries, (there are lots), restaurants, shopping and other attractions. We really enjoyed our chats with the both and I enjoyed my chat with Phill about his vintage cars. Outstanding Breakfast Each morning, we were treated to a breakfast feast. A selection of cereals, seasonal fruit and yoghurt and fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and home made lemon curd kicked off our last day in style. And the coffee—rich, aromatic, and served just the way we liked it. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful location, near to wineries, chocolatiers and restaurants without being right in town. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfasts were delicious and catered to dietary requirements well. Bedrooms had all that was required and there were a couple of communal lounge areas, too.

Bridgitte & Phill where so welcoming, going out of their way to look after us like, a personal housekeeping & catering team! They made us feel like we were at home & the other guests where friendly as well. Breakfast was home cooked meals & was very filling & delicious. Highly recommend this place as a must visit/stay if you are travelling to or through Mudgee. Tell them you came because of this review ... wink wink ( I gave a 9 as I couldn't put 9.9 as it was close to perfect, however I never give a perfect score as we all can improve, although not much is needed here!!!

Phil and Brigitte are wonderful hosts and made everyone very welcome. The warm fire at night while relaxing with a wine splendid indeed. Breakfast every morning was excellent, a bonus the homemade bread.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts are delightful and we enjoyed the yummy cooked breakfast, wine tour and lounging in front of the wood fire. Our room and ensuite were very clean and comfortable.
