“Very clean comfortable stay in a simple but stylish motel”

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good quality and stylish fittings. There are basic self-catering facilities like a fridge and kettle, and there is complimentary tea. The beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice and good showers. The room was quite spacious. There was a nice garden on the property and outdoor seating with a fire pit. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked really nice and would be ideal in summer.

Great place to stay if you’re travelling with furry friends and need somewhere clean, close to town with space for dogs to stretch their legs after a long journey. The rooms were very clean, the property was well presented and the host was incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend.

Very clean & comfortable accommodation

It was in a quiet position. The rooms are as good or better than a Quest or Mantra in the city. Beautiful veiws from the room, looking over paddocks. Bbq looked brand new. Excellent bbq area. The beds were fantastic. Very comfortable. The host was very accommodating.

We have stayed at a number of different types of accommodation in Mudgee and surrounding areas and was told that The Cudgee at Mudgee had just been refurbished and was an excellent place to stay. Well, they where right! The room, number 10, was spacious with a queen and single bed. The beds so comfortable and the renovation has a nice touch without going overboard and paying for extras that you simply don't need for a day for few stay. The room was absolutely spotless with a fabulously large shower. And for those that have a penchant for large wine glasses for their acquired Mudgee wines don't despair as they have them as well. I would highly recommend The Cudgee at Mudgee and still certainly come back.

Check in was easy, with staff behind the desk very welcoming. The room was modern and comfortable but not indulgent. Enough space to move around, sit comfortably, make a cup of coffee.. whatever. The whole place had a great feeling and suited the country lifestyle of the area. The fact they were accommodating for the dog we were travelling with was what drew us here initially but it's a perfect place regardless. The grounds surrounding the accom are great, with enough space to run the dog (large kelpie, with a lot of energy), a BBQ area, seating and a pool area that nearly tempted us in regardless of it being around 2 degrees in the sunshine. Definitely would recommend and we will definitely be staying again if we are back in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and styling of the rooms.. for $180 I wasn’t expecting much From the outside it didn’t look like it would be anything flash but as soon as I got inside I was impressed. Very clean, nicely renovated, the beds were very comfortable and even the small details stood out - the dinnerware, glassware, bedding and the shampoo and body wash were all great quality. They even have pool toys and lawn games to use, along with offering pet friendly rooms! The staff were so friendly and helpful.. I really enjoyed the stay here, I’ll definitely book again.

Beautiful upgrade to a motel vibe. Rooms were clean and well presented! Staff were incredibly helpful, even travelling to another hotel to get a porta cot we had forgotten to bring. Will be back again soon!

We booked a pet friendly room. It was very clean, smelt nice, comfortable and spacious for us and our small dog. There were other dogs in neighbouring rooms, but we couldn’t hear any noise from them at all. The owner Craig was friendly and easily contactable if needed.

Owner/Manager was very accommodating for our early check-in despite being short staffed! We had a very good 2 bedroom unit with kitchenette which was very comfortable. Parking outside our room.
