It’s a lovely quiet spot. Set in the bush and plenty of wildlife. The cottage was very well equipped and decorated and great artwork. Very good gas BBQ caused us to eat in both nights we were .

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as lovely! So many small homey touches make it a comfortable place to stay. The quiet and all the roos on the property make it a nice change. Also great how close to town it is.

That we were accommodated at the last minute without fuss and the cottage was beautifully laid out. Host responded very quickly, def recommend

Wonderful accommodation in a very comfortable cottage with everything we could need set in a quiet and beautiful bushland setting. Wildlife sightings and the background music of birdsong just made the whole experience perfect.

They have literally thought of everything! The little touches were outstanding. It was so homely and cosy. The comms from the hosts were second to none and would recommend these stunning cottages without reservation. We will definitely be back.

The property had three cottages that were within view of each other but still retaining privacy. The property was a few k's outside Mudgee so a short drive to the town and wineries but the bush location meant that it was a quiet and relaxing way to spend time when at the cottage. We were surrounded by trees and there was the occasional visit by wallabies. The cottages have 2 bedrooms with a spacious lounge and also small kitchen and dining area. Diana the host has tried to make the cottages as homely and convenient as possible. There is a fully stocked kitchen with almost everything you could want, including lots of quaint items. There were lots of saucepans, plates, glasses etc. There was milk, tea and (instant and ground beans with plunger) coffee, chocolates, port etc. as well as some local wine and olive oils if wanted to purchase. There was also chopped wood and kindling for the fire place. The A/C also provided an easy alternative for heating in the morning if you didn't want to stock the fire again. We had frost in the mornings but the beds were warm and comfy and there was plenty of hot water. We were lucky to have 3 fine days and the stars shone brightly at night. The host has provided star gazing packs (rugs, cushions, binoculars etc.) but this time it was a kite too cold for lying outside on the ground.

Even though breakfast wasn't provided, that didn't matter as it gave us an opportunity to venture into town for a cafe style breakfast. The property did offer a coffee machine and milk though. What was also excellent, was the fact that a Port and local wine varieties were available in the cottage - if needed. The beds were very comfortable and warm. Bandalong Cottages has set the standard of 'Small Touches' to a new level. We will definitely be returning again.

We loved everything, we loved the location, facilities, communication from the host and being surrounded by wildlife.

Cute little cottages far enough out of town to be away from the noise, but close enough to duck into town for dinner etc. Birds and wildlife were fantastic. Next time we are in mudgee def stay here again

Wow! One of the best holiday homes we’ve ever stayed in! Small but perfectly appointed. Everything you could want to find, and more… (even a popcorn machine with corn supplied!) Loved the decor and furnishings.

The place was excellent. It was only 5 min away from mudgee and away from crowd in the secluded place quiet and peaceful. The host think everything well in the property.

The place both looks and feels very clean. No ick feelings at all despite the cottage aesthetic. The environment is cozy with all the books and decorations. Feels quite like home. Smell nice as well. The stargazing experience was also incredible.
