Overview
Situated in a secluded hamlet close to the sea, Toadhall Rooms offers accommodation with free on-site parking and WiFi. There is a variety of rooms in the main house and a stylish open-plan studio apartment with its own private entrance from the courtyard. All rooms are individually designed and feature modern bathrooms. Each room has a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a fridge, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray and access to a microwave. Guests in the house can enjoy a cooked breakfast made to order, using the eggs from the owner's free-range chickens and locally sourced produce where possible, alongside a variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, teas and coffees. Takeaway breakfast is also available. For guests in our studio we will leave teas, coffee, milk, jams and fresh bread for you to enjoy at your leisure. The closest bars, restaurants and amenities are a 5-minute drive away in Newtonhill. Other nearby villages are Altens (a 10-minute drive) and Stonehaven (a 5-minute drive). Central Aberdeen is less than 20 minutes’ drive away, whilst Aberdeen Airport is 16 miles from the apartment.

Everything was sooooo lovely. I will rate 12 out of 10. The stars in the sky were so beautiful and glory. Host was nice and friendly, not too much welcome and not many limitations. Just the right place. Rooms were tidy and calm. Kids were happy here. We had a relaxing time here.

“Excellent remote cottage with lovely hosts and walk to the sea side”
Excellent spacious cottage with lovely hosts — a completely separate building. The location is quite remote from any services, but allows for an excellent walk to the sea side. The cottage had a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle and a capsule coffee machine. There are peacocks somewhere nearby, sometimes they pay a visit. There is no breakfast, but kind hosts brought us some croissants, jam and milk.
