We absolutely loved our stay at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The landscape is breathtaking — with volcano views, flamingos in the distance, and even giraffes wandering through camp, it felt like something out of a dream. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. They went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and cared for every step of the way. We felt completely safe and looked after throughout our stay. Our tent was perfect — comfortable, well-equipped, and with a porch view of the flamingos in the distance. The food was great, the full-service bar a treat, and we especially loved watching the weaver birds from the dining area. One of our favorite moments was sitting in the pool, drink in hand, gazing out at the volcano — absolutely unforgettable. We’re so glad we found this place. It was super reasonable, incredibly friendly, and truly exceeded our expectations.

A beautiful lodge by Lake Natron, perfect for relaxation. The food was truly impressive—everything was freshly prepared, varied, and even included delicious vegan options. The pool offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape and volcanoes, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything you need, including mosquito nets for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly attentive and took great care of us throughout our visit. We can wholeheartedly recommend this lodge and would love to return!

The hotel communicated very clearly about TAWA fees, but not about the gate fee. This gate fee is supposed to be paid cash. Thus local government stifles tourism.... Guests need to know about this on beforehand.

We had a great stay at Africa Safari Lake Natron. Beautiful location close to Lake Natron and Ol Doinyo Lengai. We particularly enjoyed the walk to the Lake during Sunset and the hike up the volcano. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and the pool was a huge plus given the temperatures in this area.

We stayed for 3 nights at Africa Safari Lake Natron. Location was good, near the banks of Lake Natron, with a great view of Ol Doinyo Lengai Volcano and the Lake. Activities with our local Masaai Guide Lembu were fun & he told us about culture & life. We loved the swimming pool, which was beautiful and great for cooling off after a long, hot day.

“Great stay with lovely team”

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel. It is located in the nature, so that the place is very quiet and you can see animals in the surroundings. The tent we were staying for 2 nights was really confortable and clean, with view directly on the lake. Edwin, the manager, and his team are lovely and happy to help you to plan activities. The quality of service is perfect.
