“A week of being spoiled in paradise”

It had everything we needed and more. The staff went out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. It is a beautiful lodge at a beautiful location.

“Lovely way to end my holiday”

Loved my stay here! It’s in such a beautiful and quiet area, you can totally relax. Room is comfortable, pool is lovely, a very short walk to mtende beach. Restaurant is good at the hotel as there really isn’t anything around unless you want to drive, so ideal the hotels restaurant is good. Staff all lovely and friendly and really hospitable, super nice people. Special mention goes to Bobby the monkey!

it was just magnificent, the staff were very pleasant and attentive to everything, the place is beautifully planted with trees, the decor is sublime, not forgetting the restaurant and its food, tastefully prepared and beautifully presented, I recommend it.

Breakfast menu was very limited and what was on it was just average. No percolated coffee just instant coffee with sometimes tepid water on the side.

The place was wonderful. Lots of trees and plants. Rooms and the whole area was elegant and beautiful. The owner and his staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was good, best I have got in Sansibar/ Tansania. They made our holiday perfect.

The staff!!!! How lovely and caring they were! I arrived unwell first day having just come from safari and the whole team looked after me through out my stay, checking in how I was feeling and ensuring I had anything I needed! As a solo traveler this was simply priceless - thank you!

The inside of the resort is perfect, high quality architecture, great bar with tasty coctails, delicious food, everything super clean. Staying under the thousand years old baobab was an unforgottable experience.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location, the restaurant built onto the ancient Baobab tree was awesome! The nearby beach is breathtaking. Couldn’t be happier with it stay here, the staff really made us feel like we at home. Eric the owner was super helpful too, providing us with a driver for the day and a contract for a day safari. Would love to return one day

Beautiful boutique hotel - I loved everything about this stay - the best of both worlds with nature and beach. the staff were very kind and helpful, and it was very unique to have meals in a baobab tree. It is a fantastic escape for those looking to avoid the major touristy areas in favour of a more relaxed stay without compromising the beauty of your surroundings and quality of service.

“Everything great as you’d expect but the staff really make the stay”

The location just past the village and a short walk to an unbelievable beach is quite something in its own right. Then the swimming pool, rooms, food and excursions give you everything you could want for but the thing that makes this place really special is the staff. Getting to know you, making you feel at home and literally nothing is too much to ask, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

This hotel exceeded our expectations so much!! all the staff is amazing and the owners as well, they are all the time around and they are cheerful and talkative. The hotel is super close to the beach and the vibes are chilled and relaxing. The food is amazing and the breakfast is very varied, the room was super clean as well as the whole installations. The people working there are super friendly and helpful, we definitely want to come back!! thank you so much!!!
