We had such a beautiful stay at Sawa Sawa Beach Guest House and went back home feeling truly relaxed. The first thing we noticed was how incredibly clean everything is. Honestly, the cleanliness of the rooms is outstanding. The room was cleaned twice a day with so much care and attention to detail, something we rarely experienced even in bigger hotels. The place itself is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. It’s quiet, surrounded by nature and a bit isolated, which for us was exactly what we were looking for. It’s the perfect place if you want to disconnect, slow down and really rest. A huge thank you to Stesi, the manager, who is doing an amazing job. She is incredibly present, attentive and clearly cares deeply about the guest experience. Whenever we had a small issue she immediately sorted it out and made sure everything was taken care of. The whole staff is also incredibly kind, welcoming and always smiling, which made us feel at home from the very first day. One experience we absolutely recommend is the village tour behind the guest house. We met a local guide called Champagne, a beach boy who is genuinely kind, honest and not pushy at all. The tour of the village was one of the most meaningful experiences we have ever had while traveling and we highly recommend doing it if you stay here.

The property was just as described. Boutique resort,we were only 10 guests,felt very cosy and intimate. My children loved having the pool to themselves. The beach is right on the front porch.It was a relaxing stay. I will be back with my husband.

The staff and Miss Stacy treated us so well. Everyone was exceptionally lovely. The architecture and the house are one of a kind; and extremely well taken care of. And we loved the fresh food.

Views, friendly staff, excellent communication by hotel manager (Stacey is beyond responsive and hands-on) Safety is at 100% even though that area doesn't seem to need security. . Fresh food, excellent cocktails. Warm and spotlessly clean pool

The layout of the property is truly beautiful and you feel like you are entering an oasis. There are a total of 8 rooms, and the outdoor area is spacious so it never gets too crowded. The staff are so amazing - doing everything to make you feel at home and even if something is not on their menu, they will try to get the next day and prepare for you. We were celebrating a birthday and tuna is a favourite, so we asked Stacey if it could be possible to get hold of and prepare for us on the birthday - and she immediately made calls, and the chef prepared it just the way we love it. Stacey is always there to assist and help. Ian, Geoffrey and Hosna always kind and moving between the kitchen/bar and serving the guests. Even though the beach is not pristine and there is dried seaweed on it so it's not the perfect white sand beach - there is a white sand bank just outside (1min walk in the water) and that's where you see last call kids go to swim as well. Sawa Sawa Beach House is a small paradise and we will definitely be back.

The location, right on the beachfront, is perfect. The food! Every dish I had was amazing. This was 4/5-star restaurant quality, amazing flavours, perfectly cooked, generous portions and very reasonably priced. The staff - very friendly and attentive but not intrusive

“An amazing place to relax and just soak the Kenyan sun.”

We loved how the location is so quiet and serene. The staff are so friendly and very attentive which made our stay enjoyable. They would spray your room at night to lessen the chance of mosquitoes and during the day they clean your room. We wanted to stay longer! And we will definitely try to come back!

The water shortage that lasted a few hours due to water pipe problems.
