“Lovely quiet guest house”

Lovely peaceful accommodation around a km from Moyogalpa ferry. Great breakfast, What makes this place so special are the owners Danielle and Tony, superb lovely people. Value for money. Highly recommended.

“A home away from home, which we definitely will return to!”

Everything! Daniela and Toni are the nicest most caring hosts I have ever met. They helped us with everything we needed right away. We wanted to rent scooters and they organized everything at a really good rate. When mine had a flat tire, Toni immediately went to get it fixed. Daniela prepares the most amazing breakfasts we had on all our trip through Nicaragua. She also offers laundry service, which was super convenient. Besides, the property really is a hidden gem. It’s so nice with all the ducks and chickens running around as well as the birds that you can see everywhere cause there is so much nature. It’s right by the water so you can go for a swim and watch the most amazing sunsets. Also, I loved the hammocks in front of the room. Staying at Rancho Tranquillo really is like a home away from home and we already miss Daniela and Toni.

“A wonderful stay in a little corner of paradise”

I had a wonderful stay at Rancho Tranquillo. Daniela and Tony, the hosts, truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are simple, but clean and with everything you may need. The Rancho is located right next to the lake's shore, with magnificient sunsets right at your doorstep.

Rancho Tranquillo is a wonderful place for the soul. Daniela and Antonio, kind and sweet people, have created a Tropical Paradise for their guests, surrounded by singing birds, with a delicious breakfast - be sure to try the Special House Breakfast, on the lakeshore with fantastic sunsets at the foot of the volcanoes, cozy and very comfortable, 10 minutes from the main pier, along a picturesque path to Rancho Tranquillo.

We felt very welcome and well taken care of. The hosts are super friendly, gave us good recommendations and even organised a scooter rental for us. The lovely prepared breakfast in the beautiful surrounding was a perfect end for our time on Ometepe island. Definitely a recommendation!

“Tranquilo y perfecto”

I loved my stay at Rancho Tranquilo with Daniela and Tony! The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. There are mosquito nets on every window and door, so I had no problems with mosquitos in the night. I rented their scooter for 3 days for a fair price and got delicious breakfast every morning (which is not included, but also at a fair price and the best breakfast I had during my travels). If I ever come back to Ometepe, I know where I will stay.

“A little piece of heaven in Ometepe”

I stayed there for 3 days, the location was perfect. Close to Moyogalpa (around 15 min by walk) and the place was really nice. The room, the environment, the hosts... Daniela and Tony are amazing hosts, I had some great conversations with them. Daniela's breakfasts were a fantastic way to start the day and I used Tony's barbell to get a little pump in the morning, Tony also helped me to open some coconut after my workout. The best way is to share the coconuts with their animals, especially with their two dogs; Chico and Pepo. Vďaka za všetko

“Beautiful tropical garden”

The place is beautiful and the 2 hosts are very kind and friendly! I slept very well with the sounds of nature. I think it was a perfect place for 3 nights. Only thing I would recommend is to book this only if you have a moto or that kind of transport to get there. We tried the walking way but it was half flooded.

Daniela and Tony were such adorable hosts and very fun and interesting to talk to, the room was clean and comfortable and had a nice porch with hammocks in the middle of a beautiful garden, you could swim in the lake right outside the property. When we were there, unfortunately the riverside road was closed but normally it should only be a short and nice walk along the lake to get to the city Center and ferry.

Daniela and Tony are great people, I felt like home during my stay and had a great time. You can rent a scooter directly and uncomplicated with them. Plus, the facilites look gorgeous. You are surrounded by nature without being far away from the ferry. The breakfasts are also the best! If I come back, I will stay here again definitely. Best regards Hamun

The owners were super nice and great to talk to! They rented me a moto to get around the island and made incredible breakfast. The room had it's own little patio with hammocks and chairs to chill. The ranch is pretty and has nice birds.

“The best stay in Nicaragua”

Our stay was amazing! Daniela and Tony were super kind and made us feel at home. We rented a scooter with them and got a lot of recommendations which was super helpful. Started our day with the best home made healthy breakfast and loved the schnitzel Daniela cooked for us with diner! We had a great time and and would love to ever visit them again!

Daniella and Tony are incredible hosts. I felt so welcome as a sole traveler. Their place is amazing. Quiet and a short walk from town. Wonderful breakfasts and thanks for the schnitzel you prepared. I extended my stay because I loved it so much and our conversations!

Beautiful location surrounded by nature. Very welcoming hosts who are always open for a quick or long chat. :)

Beautiful landscaping, lake-front, close to ferry port. a Plenty Hammocks, friendly conversation, sweet dogs. Good fans, comfortable beds, potable drinking water. Overall very breezy and tranquil, lovely jungle+pond sounds at night. Photos shared are (believe it or not) completely unedited: golden hour is especially magical here! Very nice place, host is incredibly helpful and nice. Rooms are spacious, you got a little terrace to yourselves along with hammocks. Beautiful grounds. Quiet. Peaceful. Rented their scooter for one day only $15, could use their kayak to paddle on the lake for free. Unlimited cold water always on hands. Excellent.

“Gorgeous quiet stay”

Danielle and Toni are so friendly and helpful. Their location is a gorgeous 15 minute walk from town along the shore, only 3km from the hike up Concepción. The room was spotless and the hammock so comfortable. The icing on the cake was the fireflies. Despite the country location I didnt get bitten once. If its free, book it!
