Beautiful location and spacious clean apartment. Perfect for those hiking as it is on beautiful trails. Several restaurants but only one very small store with limited opening hours. Effective heating. We would come again/recommend but the mattresses would need updating.

“Scam Apartment - room doesn't match description”

Location was good

It was a cheap accommodation option. For 7 days of stay (in March 2025) I paid 376.42 e. I booked it through Booking. Hospitable reception of the owner of the business Miguel. He showed and explained everything. He helped me a lot with the program of the first day, sent names and links of places to visit on the first day. The beautiful nature around is amazing. A beautiful well-kept small town nearby. I checked out later than the check-in time. I asked if I could check out not at 10.30, but at 11-11.30 and I was allowed to stay late. When I asked, Workers changed my towels. But you had to agree on this. They took out the trash only on the 5th day, when it started to stink and I asked them to throw it out. The same thing happened with the pool. Worker removed it when I asked. I swam all the time, and the pool was full of leaves, old flower buds, and other trash. The worker fixed my shower door that was falling off when I asked her to. In general, you need to ask and negotiate about everything. They give you the opportunity to wash your clothes. They also gave me a clothes dryer. There is a warm blanket in the bedroom. The kitchenware is quite new and is enough for two people. The electric stove heats up quickly and works well. The kitchen is quite spacious, although dark. Adelaide usually quickly answers questions and gets in touch. You can solve all household issues and problems with her. For which I am very grateful to her! There is a dehumidifier in the kitchen. But control the filling of the tank yourself. Mine was overflowing and refused to work. I had to pour out the water from there.

The villa is located in the very old village which is quiet and peaceful. There are beautiful views and the patio garden is lovely. For those who want some peace and need a base for mountain hiking is an excellent place. If you rent a car you can reach the ocean in 40 minutes as well.

The 3-bedroom apartment is equipped with everything you need. The rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable. Villas el Alto is situated on the north side of Gran Canaria, 1000 meters above sea level, in the village of Fontanales. The drive up to Fontanales is a big challenge, but it offers fantastic views.

Villas el Alto is situated on the north side of Gran Canaria 1000m above sea level in a lovely village of Fontenales. We had a relaxing 5 nights, 3 nights in a huge appartment and 2 nights in the appartment we originally booked. The appartments have everything one needs. The area is beautiful and there are many walks that one can take to soak in the atmosphere. The drive up to Fontenales is a challenge but with fantastic views. Adelaida made us feel very welcome at her Villa. On the whole it is a place to relax, soak up the Canarian atmosphere, away from the tourist areas. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. We payed 219 Euros for five nights.

Great views, ideal as a starting point for any sightseeing on Gran Canaria. We found ourselves sitting at one of the benches available through the property and admiring the views.

Great location up in the hills in a sweet little village. Perfectly placed for hillwalking straight from the property. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us advice on walks and where to eat.
