Location, the house, atmosphere, and most especially the welcoming owners. The atmosphere is really something you seldomly find nowadays in hotels - it feels like you are in a movie. And for this price it’s unbeatable.

Beautiful Villa, very spacious rooms and welcoming owner.

This is a fabulous old vineyard/farmhouse. A gem of a find. Its location on a major hiking trail makes it a must if you are walking the trail. We were staying one night and our host booked a local restaurant for us which was brilliant. Be aware there is very little parking. We had no problem. Breakfast was great and with fresh bread from the bakers in the village. The aroma was great.

Stunning views and rhe chamber merrier was very spacious. Delightful breakfast and we had no problem organising a picnic dinner. Walking in these parts is also a feature.

I was walking the Via Francigena and was beyond delighted with my Experience at Villa Meyriem. I enjoyed outstanding hospitality. I should add that the view from my bedroom was incredibly beautiful.

Other than the location and view not much .This place is very run down no wifi in room sparsely furnished no meal available although meals advertised no lock on bedroom door no key

“Peaceful heaven in a truly lush surrounded by nature”

Location was just superb right in front of the Roche de haute Pierre. Amazing scenery and lush forest. The calm and peacefulness is just so relaxing. The Villa Meyriem is a beautiful 1900’s family mansion with souvenirs and antiques all over the place. If you like to go back in time this is a truly a real treasure house full of interesting bits (old local maps and plan of the house for ex ) . The mature garden with huge trees and lovely flowers is delightful. Sophie and her husband are lovely and very helpful. Always there to help with local information. The delicious breakfast in the garden is the cherry on the cake with delicious croissant and home made jam. Then you have the large pool to relax after a busy day hiking ! By the way this is hiking heaven ! Great walks all around. The river source La loue is a must as well.
