“Beautiful old country house!”
Such a beautiful place to stay. I stayed here between working and it was so comfortable and charming. It is a 1700s country house and its character is still felt. Thank you to Hannah and Marie who I met. The breakfast was so beautiful. The atmosphere; quaint. I would love to return!

“Hidden Gem”
What a surprise! A beautiful Georgian house and out buildings providing a welcoming stay. It has kept its authenticity and charm, which so many have lost. The rooms are big, the food is superb and as you eat communially the company is really interesting.

“It wasa lovely relaxing tranquil wind down”
We really enjoyed our stay at roundwood.Hannah and Paddy wereso warm and welcoming.The house was built in the 18th century and has great character very cosy.Loved the ground and the fantadtic library.We could have spent all day there. Food was excellent.loves paddys cooking.As a coeliac i had lovely breakfasts and dinners.Would highly recommend itTwo lovely friendly dogs who accompanoed us on pur walks

Roundwood House is truly exceptional, a gorgeous historic property that is beautifully maintained and decorated with impeccable taste. From the moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve been transported back in time. What truly elevates the experience is the warmth and graciousness of Hannah and Paddy, who welcomed us into their estate with genuine kindness and hospitality. Their passion for the house and its history shines through in every detail. The food surpassed all expectations, every dish was carefully prepared, delicious, and memorable. The grounds are breathtaking and an absolute pleasure to wander; calm, quiet, and full of charm at every turn. It is the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and soak in a truly magical atmosphere. We left already dreaming of our return and without a doubt we will be back again.

A genuine country house atmosphere, relaxing and informal. The separate library is a real surprise with a wonderfully eclectic collection of books. Evening dinners are of top-rate quality and variety, and can be enjoyed at a communal table with pleasant company.

Roundwood House is hidden gem. Fantastic staff, great food and a truely authentic house where you are made feel at home. The food was fantastic and Hana and the team really took.care of us. Cannot recommend it enough...if you want a relaxing break away get yourself to Roundwood House!
