Beautiful old hotel. The owners have put thought into every piece of antique furniture. The service was perfect.I highly recommend it if you love beautiful older hotels and like to step back in time. Well done to the owners!!

Location was fabulous. Close to the park, station and shops. Also had a cafe and restaurant on site which had delicious food. Convenient to park out back. Such a quirky place. Real antiques, chandeliers and candleabras were just the start. Reminded us of Italy. Loved the giant fireplace near the Atrium. Many birds to see too - king parrot, rosellas, sulfur crested cockatoos, not to mention the stuffed peacock! Beds had heating (timed electric blanket) and there was also a heater in the room.

Gorgeous, quaint hotel with lovely and quirky decor. Lots of communal lounge areas to sit and have a drink or read. Great cafe/restaurant. Very friendly owners and reception staff. The renovation is lovely and apparently there is more work planned which will make it even better.

“A beautiful mountain escape”

Beautifully restored. Very comfortable. The antiques decorating the place are fabulous. Friendly staff. We dined at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious. Excellent value for a family! We went next door to the movies one day, which was fun.

The continental breakfast buffet provided in the dining room on busy days was lovely. The complimentary cooked breakfast and brewed coffee on our last day was an unexpected bonus! The weather wasn't great while we were there but we enjoyed relaxing in the gorgeous sitting rooms , reading , listening to podcasts and crafting!

We felt welcomed and looked after from arrival to departure. The staff were so generous and kind. The building and decor is exquisite! We loved all the artwork and collectables. Sitting at the fireplace and playing boardgames was a highlight. We were also served a lovely, generous breakfast. Thanks so much!!

What an amazing place to stay. Gorgeously decorated, we enjoyed breakfast in the garden room, and hot breakfasts from the cafe are also great. The Staff are so helpful and friendly and adapted happily to our emergency change of plans. The room was quieter than I expected, given that the highway traffic is being detoured past the front door! A Bower bird sat outside the Breakfast room window, and we saw amazing sunsets. Recommended.
