“Stay elsewhere”
Staff was rude and very accusatory. After being shown reservation still wanted me to pay a higher rate than quoted. Kept asking if we had pets and or smoked after being told no to both questions.

“Cheap motel does the job”
It was a cheap motel, and it did the job: i got a warm shower and a good night's rest. Downtown Mount Vernon is only a ten minute bicycle ride away, so it's not too hard to get decent food.
