“Memorable stay at Berjaya hotel”
Location is fabulous as it's just opposite beach. Food is typical Sri Lankan which may not cater to everyone's taste. Staff are very cheerful n helpful. They have a swimming pool which is very well maintained. Rooms are hygenic n airy with balcony facing the beach. Would definitely recommend others to visit this hotel and experience an enjoyable n comfortable stay.

“Relaxing and quiet Sri Lankan style hotel”
The location beside the beach provides attractive views and is only marred by passing trains (about one every half hour) but it is otherwise peaceful. An attractive private garden and pool. Easy access to the beach with beach cafes. If you are looking for a modern "western" hotel, this is not for you, but it is generally clean tidy and well presented. Most of the staff understand some English. Good range of local food at breakfast, I particularly liked the fresh fruit.
