Overview
Located at the top of Mount Dandenong, Observatory Cottages offers self-contained cottages with views of Port Phillip Bay. Guests enjoy rooms with a fireplace and a spa bath. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Observatory Cottages is a 5-minute walk from SkyHigh Mount Dandenong and a 10-minute walk from Mount Dandenong Lookout. It is within a 65-minute drive of both Melbourne CBD and Melbourne Airport. All air-conditioned cottages offer a fully equipped kitchen and a dining/ lounge area with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. They feature ironing facilities and an outdoor dining area. The en suite bathroom has free toiletries. Some rooms have a balcony, wired Internet or a washing machine.Guests can prepare a meal on their private BBQ.

We didn’t receive breakfast, it was included in the booking and I called and emailed when we were at the property with no reply, disappointing if I knew they didn’t have it organised, I would have arranged provisions before arriving.

“Magical”
The whole experience was absolutely perfect! Peaceful, Romantic and Serene and surrounded by nature. We had the most wonderful 10th Wedding Anniversary weekend. Absolutely magical. My husband and I fell in love with the whole place and cannot wait to come back! Weve been discussing how we can plan to make this a yearly experience for us! Special mention to the gorgeous family of Chrimson Rosellas that came to visit frequently.

Such a wonderful cottage with fantastic ambience and fitted out with everything you could possibly want. The big spa bath, the cosy gas log fire, the well appointed kitchen and the comfy bed. Everything was perfect and the location is great too with plenty of walking options from the cottage.

Ironbark Cottage
This cottage boasts a private backyard and a balcony overlooking Port Phillip Bay and surrounding suburbs. Guests can sit back in their double spa and watch the sun go down or just sit by the gas log fireplace. There is an 1880's antique bed with lace bedding and furnishings. The cottage has rich reds and wood paneling as well as cathedral ceilings.

Situated at the top of the property, Candlewick Suite has stunning views of Port Phillip Bay and surrounding night lights from the comfort of your 4-poster bed. You can enjoy a soak in the 2-person spa bath or watch your favourite movie. There is a gas log fireplace, courtyard garden and a full kitchen.
