Overview
Offering luxuriously appointed apartments and spacious chalet style hotel rooms, Hotel Pension Grimus is located on Mount Buller. There is an on-site restaurant, intimate cocktail bar, sauna and an accessory boutique. This boutique hotel is centrally located next to Bourke Street ski run and just 50 metres from the loading station of the new Abom six-seater chairlift. The property is 100 metres from the Ski School, Buller Kids Centre and Creche. Each apartment has a TV, DVD player and a bathroom with a spa bath, shower and free toiletries. Most have a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. For your convenience, Hotel Pension Grimus has a ski locker room, a drying room and both ski hire and service centre. “Great memories of Hans and will continue staying here.”
Stayed here many, many times. Kaptans is always the highlight. Brillant food and service. Shame its closed on Wed's as I am sure it would be full 7 nights a week. Herbies bar is great and a great spot to sit and look out the window while consuming a Schofferhoffer. Ski Hire is brillant service and so easy.

“Fantastic location and warm hospitality”
Friendly, respectful, and genuine staff. Prime location right next to the chairlifts. Convenient ski equipment hire next to the hotel. Restaurant served the best quality food in Mt Buller. No outside noise heard from the room.

Location was perfect for ski out ski in. We all loved staying at Pension Grimus. We have been eating there for many years but first time we stayed on site. Love all the memorabilia from Hans Grimus and Kaptan still there. It's like coming home. We have booked again next year.

Excellent location immediately next door to ski lift and beginners' area (handy in snow boots). Good bus service to door. Very handy to have ski hire shop within hotel. Room had great views of ski run and mountains. Room was good size and clean. Dinner at restaurant was also great. Reception and hotel staff were all friendly.

The room was extremely warm. the sgower mixer was very hard to use going from cold to hot and back to cold with smallest of adjustments. The exhust fan sound like its about to blow up. the TV didnt work.

Great location, just outside the main chair lift and a short walk from town centre. Room was very warm and cozy and staff were amazing. Food was also great, especially the included breakfast.
