Close to town and very comfortable for two couples

I loved that it was far enough away from traffic to get a peaceful stay but close enough to walk to get coffee! Large enough to accommodate our needs and small enough to feel cosy.

Just spent a few days here and it was great! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect.

The Gingerbread house was clean and big enough for a family of 4. It had everything that you needed for a short getaway. The house also has great heating to keep you warm and comfortable during winter. Located approx 45mins from Falls Creek it’s the perfect location if you are heading up to the snow. Close by to ski hire, restaurants and the local grocery store. Lyn the property owner was also lovely to deal with.

The house has been wonderfully taken care of in every detail by the host; It made the stay very enjoyable and comfy. I would highly recommend it to those who would like a ski trip or holiday getaway

This place was super cute! Some groovy 1960-70s features - hello bathroom tiles! But also modern functionality. Lyn was very generous in allowing us to pick some herbs and a little veg from her garden!

bbq was not cleaned with yucky rusted grilled trays. Cannot start because the flame starter was not working.

The house is very clean, comfortable and sweet. Good location too. Would like to stay at Ginger Bread House again if we return.

Lyn’s place is very clean, warm, organised, cozy, well equipped and well stocked (toilet paper, paper towel etc). My children were so fascinated with the pet chicken that laid eggs each day and everything that grow in the garden. Such a lovely experience. It’s very close to the shops and a little drive away to bike trails and bike parks. I definitely recommend The Gingerbread House!

“Great house with amazing view”

Nice location, easy car park, large kitchen, comfortable sofa, multiple bathrooms and toilets. House has a veranda and a backyard with BBQ. We had the kitchen stocked with breakfast cereals, milk, butter, jams, Vegemite and a lot of bread. Lyn was also very kind to let us have the backyard chooks' eggs. Aircon was a blessing because it was very hot.

Breakfast supplies were just fine - worked out how to grind the coffee beans. Breakfast outside on the back deck was just magical. Drinks before dinner on the front deck was also lovely. The chickens laid a few eggs for us too. Did use a few of the lemons from the laden tree. Location is walking distance from Tawonga South and Mt Beauty with a good track. Great to have a code on the door so we didn't need a key.
